Just won an auction earlir this week and recieved today... it is a plastic car that resembles very much the HW Fire Chief. There are 0 markings ANYWHERE on the car. It is completly plastic (even the AXLES are plastic!)
*stole pictures from auciton as i don't have camera handy*

Well, just so you don't think you are being ignored, I have seen those before, but don't have any information about them

I figure its some sort of 10 pack for a dollar item at some local's dollar tree or something (as it is very cheaply made) the stuff that is extra from the molding process (cant remember the term for it), but where the 2 seams come together and the extra plastic is squeezed out of the mold... those are barely trimmed off!
Just another unique addition to my collection (even if it is a pos looking plastic thangie)
This was sold by - I think if I remember correctly - GORDY, or perhaps LARAMI.
I bought one too, at a garage sale a couple summers ago.

I remember seeing these, believe it or not, sold in the bakeware section of a store as CAKE TOPPERS... my mom or my grandma or someone had 3 of them, red, white, and blue, in a plastic baggie for years...

You know what... i'll buy that story, looking over how its make, would be perfect for cakes as the bottom is fairly flat (less 'icing grabbing' grooves). Intersting, looks like i got 2 other ones to find if they came in those colors :)
