Hello,

It is very difficult due to packaging to read a serial number
on the base of a Green Machine without opening the package.
A member here has posted a pic of the 71 Camaro GM loose and I
believe the number was 45 or something like that.
On one of my GM's I can view the number since it is printed close to the edge of the underside of the car and is viewable at an angle without opening the package. The number on my Impala GM is 104. The number on my regular
issue Black Impala is 50 so that leads me to believe that each color
of each release has its own serialized number count starting a zero.
GL website states that MCG Rel one cars are limited to 2500 each and none of the ones I own have numbers past 2500. There are two colors of
each casting done in runs of 2500 X 2 = 5000 regular issue cars. 2% of
5000 = 100 Green machines produced per casting. My Impala clearly
is numbered 104. Do they produce a "few" "extras"?
I really like my Green Machines and I would like some clarity on this
question from Matt if possible. It its "nit picking" but I like all the details
surrounding the key cars in my collection.
Looking forward to MCG Rel Two!!!!
