I knew that would get your attention. Well Kranzels is the next stop in the ORL series and theres oval racing this Sunday starting at noon. You can all take the baja set-ups off you cars and getter dailed this weekend and or next weekend. For those of you who have been there before you know what to expect. First timers prepare for great side by side racing on a super smooth ozite surface. Hope to see you all there this weeknd. From what I hear theres going to be a good turnout this weekend.

I wish me and Andrew would be able to make it before the ORL Series but I have to work and pay for the racing. Looking foward to great racing there. Being that I won the B main does that make me king of the B mainer's.

Set-up help. This is for stock as that is the biggest class.

I run BSR tires as follow (usually 2.15-2.2 seem to be fast)
RF= black or 70/30 silver black
LF= green
LR= green
RR= white or white/grey
Cut all tires to the same size and let them wear in there own stagger.
Front springs= standard greens or sometimes a purple right front.
25 weight side oil with a red (battery side) and goldright side.
Center 40 weight with a black Silva spring and Med. soft spring steel t=plate.
Standard pod with a Dodge Intrepid and a full spoiler.
This is a good starting point as I dont know what pan car you run.
Roll-out= arround 2.2 ish with an Epic or Monster.
I think some racers are going to be playing with the new cobalt motor as they are now ROAR and ORL legal.
See you there on Sunday,Bill

P.S. You can run you car low at this track as it is very smooth.

Dave Wert, I let you know on the pack but I know it will smoke my packs (thanks)

I spoke with Dave and he said NO cobalts, because not many people have them. Do you know the run line?

Great day of racing at Kranzels on Sunday. Dave ran a tight ship but gave us breaks between rounds so we could dial ourselves in,,,or out.We had about fourty racers and with three rounds of qualifying were still on the road by five thirty after the mains. Way to go Dave.
This weekend (Sunday) the track will open an hour earlier (9 AM) and on ORL Sunday (the 19th) will open at 8AM. Stock is the biggest class with Alan Snowbirds Champ Behler leading the way yesterday. The Nastrucks were also venue with the young Bremann boy taking top honors. There's also a fun field of the 18th scale trucks or what ever there called (nats) that are really fun to watch and corner marshall.
This weekend the new blue Cobalt motors will also be allowed. Last week with only a few available the call was made not to allow them. A good and fair call as it may have been an unfair advantage to thoughs that had them. See you soon,Bill
