Umm... One got bought out by a big company while back and is now at the point that it is loosing many of there best customers due to customer service issues...

The other one has some Cool mopars comming out this summer that will sell like crazy! and has great customer service :)

I think the detail is pretty much the same. I think GL does a better job at keeping car dimensions realistic. I think if you didn't know in advance if a car was a JL or GL you would have a hard time telling them apart.

What he said. :) Plus as far as I know Green Light isn't available in department stores and are considerably more limited in runs compared to Johnny Lightnings.

If GL continues to produce items like the one pictured below they will continue to see more of my $$$. This is the first one that I have opened since I had an extra and all I can say is WOW. It is extremely nicely done. My only complaint would be that the tires seem a bit thick in the sidewalls but the real rubber is nice. I have a love affair with the JL Mustangs but these easily rival JL in quality.

I found them at a small hobby shop and also at a vender at a car show. They were selling for $5.00 a pop. I bought a few of the mustangs but I ended up just getting a case online. Ended up being cheaper.

I was dissapointed with one aspect of the Greenlight '69 Mustangs--they forgot the quarter window! JL did it correctly on their '70 tooling.

That said, I really like GL's '70 Mustang convertible (no one has ever tooled one like this--I hope they do a Grande coupe also) and esp. like the '68 Impala...
