Has anyone used one of these?
I have a Fantom for the big motors, I am looking to use it for the mini motors. Mainly the ones in the BRP cars. I know I will have to have an adapter made, that is no biggie.

The Trinity unit includes the adapter needed for mini motors. It's not a load dyno, but it costs a fraction of what you probably paid for the Fantom.

A fraction, yes. Equal, I doubt it though. The motors we are using in the BRP 1/18 are slot motors. They have a different size can than the other 1/18 motors.
I would like to hear from some people that have used it. I do not need something that is useless.

I have one, great for breaking in motors, you tell it what condition you want the brushes and when it gets there it quits, no stopping and starting like on the Turbos.....
Gives rpm but only compare other motors with it not dyno readings.
Gives amp draw which is pretty close to the turbo 2v method.

I have one since Oct only thing that doesn't work is the rpm readout, sent back to Trinity and still no rpm readout. I use it mostly to run lathe, breakin motor and get a amp draw. Prefer to use an actual dyno to determine the power numbers. For trackside maintenance the amp draw and condition help to determine if motor is back within good ranges.

No one is saying it's equal. I have the Trinity unit and a Robotronics dyno. The Trinity one I have works fine and is much better for bringing to the track.
