Up until now the only MM's I have are the Military, Jeeps, and a few other singles. Today in KB I saw the white with flame and black with flame cars reduced to $1 each! I got all 6 cars in each release.
They rang up at $1.67 each but the manager had to redo it. She said they were at $1 each, but last night went to 3 for $5. She then rang them up individually, 1 at $1, 1 at $.50, and did this thru all 12. Ended up costing me $9 plus another 5% sales tax, even after I told her it should have been $12.

Nice addition to my small collection at an unbelievable price.
Don't know if it's this way in all KB's, but you can check it out. Other series were listed at 3 for $5.

After leaving Kmart this morning, I went across the street to the K&B's in the mall. They had just put out 3 full sets of 2002's K and L releases. They also had a bunch of Muscle Tuners. Not into imports, but I scooped up 9 of the K and L cars. Same deal, 3 for $5.00, but they're also having a 50% 0ff sale. Buy one orange tagged item, get the second one for half off. Those 9 cars cost me just $12.25.

Wish they had the cars you mentioned!! If your K&B has more of them, can I talk you into picking up all 12 for me?

BTW, I'm from the Cape. Howdy neighbor. And I was just in Seekonk today. Which K&B did you find those in?

I stopped in the Fall River store. They had only 1 black and I think 4 of the white cars left. I wouldn't have even looked at them had I not seen another guy in the aisle with all the black ones.

If I get back out there in the next couple of days I'll see if they have any more.
Now that I think about it, there is a much closer store I'll check out on Sunday.

Wish I had known that before, EC, when dadvball, Dave_Anto364 and Rob Parkhurst and I all got together a few months ago in Providence..... where on the Cape are you? I saw several Black with Flames and White with Flames just yesterday (I probably still have a bunch in my old MM collection from a couple years ago).

My KB had a bin of death, and since I"m not a cardboard collector, it was heaven. :thumbsup:

Autozone has all diecasts marked down to $1. if they are on the front display or near the front by the counter. Go get em.
