Comes on an authentic used G-plus chassis! I am not in the rare collectible game, but it wouldn't take many cars at this rate to run out of cash. I don't get enough visitors to my digs that would appreciate the high dollar cars. But of course, my wife would be very understanding of the need to spend $650 on this car!

I look at cars like that and think things like, car or new guitar, car or new set of tires, car or........ I had a hard time parting with $150.00 for a Petty mail in Charger for my meager collection. This is one serious collector, I guess. :) rr

7 bids and then somebody just said; "screw it I'm buying it...". and the auction ended early. Man collectors are a different breed.

I have gotten a number of cars from Chris. He is an unusual seller from the standpoint of ending auctions early. After seeing it happen a couple times I asked him why. His response was the auctions were more than double his most optimistic bid and felt bad letting it go any further. A g-plus S series Porsche went to around $600 within 24 hours of it being posted. He ended it after 25 hours.
car or new guitar
Yep, exactly what I say.
It seems that no matter what I get interested in, at that point in time EVERYONE ELSE gets the same idea and it goes wild on ebay.
A few months or years later I look at the same stuff selling for a fraction of the price. I just have to figure out how to beat the trend....hopefully on the EARLY side of the trend rather than the latter side.....
Maybe it is time to dump some slots
