Today was warm enough to try and start my 16 hp engine. It went, good and quiet, until I had to pull the choke off (it's about 20 degress F) That's when it quit, no prob right? Well helps to have a fully charged battery for starters. But besides that, when I look straight down the carb, I can see some gas right when the carb splits into the intake manifolds. When I turn it over the gas will get sucked out, and then slowly seep back it. Is this normal to do??
P.S. Mike, you might get a mesage from me pretty quick!!

Usually when its cold, they more then likely need more choking to get em started and keep em running till they get going good, kinda like some old carbed car engines, they might quit the first, second, or even third time before they got going. As long as gas isn't flowing uncontrollably when you cut if off.

I had a problem that sounds just like this. Your fuel inlet seat is not sealing the right way so you might want to try pushing it down with the needle to make sure it sits and seals the right way. And that should get you going again! ~Kyle
