Early nineties. they did make some cars that look alot like zingers, or muscle machines, take your pick.

somewhere i have a red one kinda like cosmic blues, got them both about 15 years ago

Red one is the Red Rider or The Big Banger. The Big banger was the first. I believe there is a green one also. I think I have all the variations - this is the first Zinger/Muscle Machine type made.
