There have been some emails in regards to the east coast modifieds that have come to us lately. Windtunnel Body Works is the "original" bolink mold and is in full production and available to the public. There are a couple of copies out there right now that are not the real deal. Anyone looking for information on these are any other Windtunnel Body Works products can click the link below or contact us at MURDOCKRC@AOL.COM 712-428-4679

Where were "your" bodies when everyone needed them??? That's the reason "copies were made. Who do you think were supporting that body for years , I'm sure Bolink wasn't selling 100's to Ca., I'll bet that 99% of those bodies went to Pa. and Ct.
More bodies are coming out monthly, Excaliper has one, and Johney Cash has one coming out any day, All have evolved form the original one from Bolink. All are different. Let the racers deceide!! If they like it they will buy it.

The mold used to produce the original East Coast Modified body, formerly owned by BOLINK, is now owned by WIND TUNNEL Racing Bodies. This body, being produced by WIND TUNNEL, is readily available for sale in Hobby Shops and on line stores around the country. And like YOU stated, the others are COPIES of this original body. I would presume, from what you are saying, is that these others are being produced by what is called "backfilling".

First of all, the rumor was that you had the molds for 6 months and weren't producing bodies.I'm glad those guys made bodies wheter they copied Bolinks or not. I feel that the guys making the bodies kept the class alive. The bodies out there now, are NOT backfills, Maybe you should look at them before you state that. The new Rols kanarly body is 3 inches longer that the bolink one. The excaliber body has a completly differnet hood and back window/ trunk, so it's not a copy, The other body out there has a different roof, hood, and sides. Most of the dimentions are close as dictated by the design of the chassis,And as far as "backfilling", as long as the manufactor makes major changes to the basis design it's OK. You may not feel it's not ethical but
you should be happy those guys did make bodies, because there now a demand for the bolink EC body.

Rumors are just that. had we had this mold ready to use and ship 6 months ago the bodies would have been shipping then. Word of advice: dont take rumors for truth all the time. Copy is still copy. Usually what I have found is that someone that is upset about something is the one who did the copy or is closely involved in it in some way. The Important thing is that the "original" is now available in full force and the copy's are being looked at. Hopefully this will end with this and no further actions will need to be taken because the ones I have in my hand is a "backfill"

The rolls kanardly edm body has been out for many years. It is nothing like the bolink. If I remember corectly the bolink does not have a center section, if I am wrong about that, please correct me. I haven't seen one in years.

This is not a copy of any body on the market. Just wanted to set the record straight. Thanks, Jon
