Trying to find out if a HONDA GX390.......rope start model.........can be converted to electric start by simply adding starter...?

Does the rope start model have ring gear/flywheel with the teeth that are necessary for the electric starter...?

Or...do I have to buy starter and ring gear assembly...?

first thing to look @ is to see if there are bolt holes in the block to bolt the starter up with .does the flywheel have teeth on it , and you will have to have a charging system if you want it to charge the battery .which will mean it will have to have magnents under the flywheel and a stator

Don't know if it has flywheel/ring gear as I have not got my hands on it yet. It is part of a package deal on a boat I am buying locally.

I do not need charging system and I do think I see where motor is tapped to accept starter, but looks like I see metal in the way where the gear of the starter would go to reach a ring gear....Perhaps that piece can be knocked or drilled out...??
