Hey Guys... I can't give all the info yet but the papers were signed yesterday for the sale of the Bolink name, web site and trademark. It is a 3 part sale, the 2nd being done next week which is the Legend molds and misc Legend parts and the 3rd is 40ish of the newer Bolink molds. I will post the new owners info as soon as they are ready for calls. It is a Iowa company (not Murdock so please don't hammer Rob with calls :freak: ) and they are NOT in the RC business before this. I will post more info as soon as I can.

DragMaster and RACEtech are still me and are being started back up under the Big Daddy's Hobbies name and web page. :dude:

Yes, I am meeting him next weekend so he can get the Legends Molds and the computer with all the part drawings on it. Not sure how soon he plans to have them ready to ship but everything so far has been rolling quickly

Steve,
Are they going to start molding all the great nostalgia bodies again!! We run a spec class with bodies needing to be 70 or earlier. I would really like to find the old 1/10 scale greenwood corvette, the Nova, Chevelle, Superbird & others!!!

Please let us know if you can. They could move alot of bodies around our area, alot of people looking for the older muscle cars etc.!

Thanks!

Any chance of an answer about the bodies? Want to support these again but was hoping for a reply possibly? Yes / No or unsure, wasn't sure where the molds ended up?
Thank You - Shaun N.

NAZ53... I am pulling some of the old bodies, started with the Drag stuff, next is the Wide Stock Cars and some T/E-Maxx stuff, then I am going to get the more popular "classic". 40 of the most popular are part of the Bolink sale but until the sale is finished I am going to pull some.

DustinB... KSG were thr people behind the RACEtech cars. I still have some parts. what are you looking for?

There is in fact a new owner of Bolink. I speak with him on a regular basis. He is working on puting the pieces together on some things right now. Still looking at a few weeks before things hit the market but his effort is to not only bring back legends but have back stock to keep them supplied.

COOL maybe they will make some racetech parts again. Legends would be very cool. We use to get 30 a weekend here "back in the oledays"

I dont think you will see racetech parts again. As mentioned in this post (I think) and others. Racetech is KSG these days. Andy and Jim were the men behind the g force cars. In any event, legends should be around the corner.

I'd say the new owner BETTER know about pages like this and others if he wants to do any business. How else is he going to get the word out?

He needs to get the word out, start building some hype and then deliver on the promises. Talk is cheap and people get board fast and move on to something else quickly when they see no action.

Clarification: I only know the guy, I have no idea what his true plans are or when they will take place. What he does and how he does it has nothing to me with myself or my company. He has made no indications to anyone or promises to anyone in regards to the legends kits that Im aware of. All I did was clarify that there is a new owner and nothing more. So if anyone has a problem with what is going on with legends I ask that my name not be involved. Ill make a post when I hear from him here on any news and then Im going to walk out on this one. I was just trying to keep everyone informed but I can see that isnt going to be right either. Keep in mind that RC spec is also doing legends and at last I knew some kits and parts where available throught them.

Just off the phone with the new Owner of Bolink. Im currently working on getting some bodies and possibly some other things sent over to me. Stay tuned and Ill keep everyone informed of what is available and when. Indications are that other parts and kits are in the works and should be available soon. But dont hold me to that. Im just trying to help out.

The "new" BoLink wil have a web site that you will also be able to purchase items from. I am currently just beginning to help him get the web site together but it will be a few weeks before it is set to go.
