Breaking news for all of you oval racers! We have waited too long for the replacement 1/8 axles for Wolfe's no longer made 1/8 axles. These are made of 308 stainless steel and are the same size as the Wolfe's. These won't bend like the Wolfe's and are longer than the Lunsford"s. They will be here to ship on Friday 2/17/06. Our first batch is 250 pcs. $16.95 shipped. Please use paypal and give me your hobbytalk name with your payment. I will have pics ready Friday night. We ran into a delay getting these out but wanted to make sure they were right. Our goal was to hit the shelf 2 weeks ago but other projects pushed this one back. This is from the same guy who made our Outlaw Precision Front End Tool some of you already bought. These are quality parts.

ken,

I just wondered if these axles have the set screw in the back of them so you can lock down onto the kingpin?

I received my axles. They look great.

Jason there are no set screw for the back all solid.

We decided not to put the set screw on them. Nobody around here has used them that way, besides it messes up your king pin that you just polished.

Ken I would have to agree with that decision, even the Ones that have the set screw hole cause a burr on the king pin without the screw in there, reaming helps but not always.

ttt they are worth it. Dont trust the others they suck big time. These are awesome, they helped me win the A last weekend in maine. When everythings works they way they are suppose to and not bind or even not go in, it makes for a awesome front end. Just wanted to give props were its deserved. Ken saved me from a long line of headaches from another vendor.

I forgot to put in the pic that this will align 1/8 and 3/16 size axles. The car pictured has 3/16 axles on them. I don't like the 3/16 axles there isn't any adjustment posssible plus the bearings don't last as long. I use 1/8 in all my pan cars and sprint cars.
