mcastor11 02-15-2006, 07:40 AM Question. Since this is a Saturday race...
Body Rules? Dose it have to be a stock truck body?
Only rule is ride height?
Iam asking because I would hate to make the 2 hour trip to come home.
My truck is a Losi MF2 based Oval only. I have a Mcallister Outlaw truck body on it. The spoiler is cut down to 2".
j21moss 02-15-2006, 08:21 AM hmmmm sounds tempting!!!!!!
Stateline R/C 02-15-2006, 01:44 PM come on moss its a saturday! we dont have a body rule, it must be a truck chassis.
mcastor11 02-15-2006, 05:23 PM Email me your email address so I can send some pics of my truck...lol I dont want to make the trip for nothing...lol
Stateline R/C 02-15-2006, 06:10 PM statelinerc@aol.com
squeeker138 02-17-2006, 02:38 AM Mcastor,
Several of us run the outlaw t body. Now sure the ruling on spoilers and side dams, will ask and let you know tommorrow night.
mcastor11 02-17-2006, 09:59 AM I dont think I can run this truck...lol Its a Flat off-set chassie. Runs a XXXN-T nose and the reae out of a MF2. Works sweet on dirt. Havent tried carpet yet. The Outlaw-T body has a 2.5" rear spoiler built in. We have to cut them down to 2" for dirt.
squeeker138 02-18-2006, 03:52 AM Some are running with a side dam and a spoiler. Send pics. to Kevin(stateline) that would be his call
j21moss 02-18-2006, 02:04 PM what da heah is this side dam on theses carpet trucks for???????? that's for dirt racing only.. no need for it!!! tears up carpet!!!!! may have to get to this race and bring the Pendleton truck up there and show them how it's done...LOL!!! anyway I'm seriously thinking of coming with 2 trucks... if I can talk the honey of going.. 2 weeks in a row going up north is going to be a challenge.. we'll see
Stateline R/C 02-19-2006, 08:32 PM come on moss dont make me give ya the guilt trip :freak:
j21moss 02-21-2006, 08:23 AM still thinking about it
mcastor11 02-21-2006, 10:22 AM As soon as I can find some TC shocks Ill send you some pics of my truck. If its good then Ill try to get up there.
squeeker138 02-23-2006, 03:07 AM Moss,
You, show us how it's done. lol!!! Hope that you can make the race. See you on Sat.

I need to find a 0 degree rear pivot block and no one has one..bummer.. the Pendleton truck will be there but have to wait and see what kind of traffic is out there.. to fragile but FAST!!!!.. anyway I'm trying to get 5 other drivers to come up.. not everyday a big oval truck race comes up so better take advantage of it.. Even trying to get the rocket man Walls and the Legendary Joe Peace to come out.. maybe Adam Rayls and his Dad.. we'll see what happens but Kevin my main man!!!!!!! better have me a nice spot up there to pit.. this old man can't carry things very far.. so later truckers... Tranny Car Man. 02-27-2006, 07:29 PM Gentelmen,I wish it wasnt such a hike for me,Id be there loaded for bear!!!.Truck racing in my neck of the woods is sparse.A few years ago it was booming but its peetered out lately. What type of track do you race on,flat or banked oval???.Im in southern New England and run on one of the Best Banked Tracks on the East Coast,K&N Speedway,Stafford Springs Ct.This is an invite if your ever out this way stop buy and do some topshelf racing. Thanx for your time. Sandy.
squeeker138 02-27-2006, 09:08 PM the track is a flat carpet oval
squeeker138 02-28-2006, 06:41 AM take 69 to exit 148 go East on Us 20 ( will become Maumee St.)towards Angola. When you get to the monument go North on Wayne St.(3/4 the way arround). You will go a stop light, and a block and a half after you will see a KFC. Pull into the lot after it. There is a Bp station on the right side and the track is in the Left side of the Building. Parking on the left and right sides of the lot. Please NO parking in front of or on the southe side of Bp. Additional parking in the lot behind Kfc.

mcastor11 03-03-2006, 09:12 AM Mossy, I wouldnt mind heading up. I just think theyll see my truck and say no. I forgot to take any pics of it and send them up. Im gonna take it over to New Castle and run some packs in it to see how well it hooks up on carpet.
My truck is a MF2, has truck arms, MF2 gear box, rear motor. The problem is the chassy is graphite. bats set off to the left.Basically its a MF2 nose and rear. Just the middle...lol
I sent a email to Stateline@aol.com Let me know. If its good I might just head up there.
Stateline R/C 03-03-2006, 11:46 AM are you going to run stock or 19 turn class? or both
mcastor11 03-03-2006, 12:09 PM I normall dont run this truck stock. Usally its Mod or 19t. I do have a fixed timed 19t. If theres enough and time I could do both....lol
j21moss 03-03-2006, 12:50 PM MR. CASTOR!!!!!! run it in 19T
Kevin.. well I guess our sissy boys chicken out.. so far it's just me.. maybe another.. Ronny can't go and another one has to work now.. go figure.. biggest truck race in the last 10yrs.. and now all I hear is excuses... but no matter what high or hell water... I'm there...
mcastor11 03-03-2006, 01:01 PM Waiting on the word Mossy......lol If not ill be at the Moose.....lol
j21moss 03-03-2006, 07:49 PM run it dude!!!! as long as u can keep up with my ole $100.00 spec truck then u da man!!!!!!!!
mcastor11 03-03-2006, 10:30 PM LOLOLOL, Im not worried about you...lol Im worried about getting all the way up there and not beeing able to run...lol I got a Agressor Im dying to run as well... So Im in a bind. For me to go up there I want to head out around 6-630am.
I got it to sit compressed at 1/2" so Im good on ride height. I even strapped in the 19t.
squeeker138 03-04-2006, 11:50 PM Thank-you all for the great for the racing action. I hope that it happens again!!
j21moss 03-05-2006, 01:54 PM castor.. you should have went dude.. for some of the trucks I seen up there.. you wouldn't have any problems..however the competition was great!!!!. heats were not stacked at all.. all heats had to good drivers and some ok drivers so you had to be patience to get there to be it the big show... I ran in the top 5 all day getting as high as 2nd at the end of the 3rd round and got 3rd after the 4th round.. The mains were pretty kewl as they had bump ups for the lower mains giving everbody a chance to make the 6th and final spot for the A-main.. I haven't seen that since the ole Master Hobby days in Castleton.. I'm sure glad I brought a 2nd Truck as I thought I was done after the 1st round.. My XXXT Spec truck broke another rear pivot block again!!!! I brought my XXXT MF with me for parts but I left it in the the van and my Girlfriend went to get some DVD's for her player.. I went to the hobbyshop and they didn't have any and I thought..great!!!! but I faith in my old Assc. Pendleton truck and I got it out and put the electronics in there and only had half of a battery charge and still got 53 laps in her without any practice with it and finished 3rd in the 2nd round..but she had a bad push in her.. but Cyndi came back and she saved the day and I got the XXXT-spec back together and she was ready to tear up the carpet.. So it got 2 55 lap runs to qualified 3rd overall..The mains were up and I watch some real good racing.. Megan was in the D-main and she gave the boys a good run for the money as I was hoping she would win and bump up to the C-main.. but she got past by another truck and had to settle for 2nd.. Kevin!!!! get some narrow tires for the front end on that girl's truck..shatters too much!!! if you can not find any, get them from T/M racing tires.. they got them!! anyway the C-main and B-main were good to watch as they were all battling to get the spot for the A-main.. Pat won the B-main to get the 6th and final spot..Mod truck was pretty good too.. The A-main stock truck was up and Butch took the lead and never gave it up.. I was running 3rd the entire race when Butch came up and lapped me and I just let him go as I didn't have anything for him.. as he came up to lapped the 2nd place truck. both of them tangled and I took over 2nd and I played it just safe and not try and unlapped myself from Butch.. I was just happy just to finish in the top 3.. So Butch got 1st and I got 2nd..1 lap down.. So Butch got me this time as now we are even.. I got him at The Summit at the money race..
Kevin and Nick!!!!!!! Great place to race!!!!!!!! had a great time and will back sometime in the future... I couldn't believe how tuff the competition was so  .. and the announcer was great!!!!! he kept everybody on there toes!!!! so until then take care!!!!!!! The Dr..
