I'm trying to mimic a 1/24th commercial track as much as possible with my 4 lane HO layout.

Pretty sure that the outside lane is "red", and the inside lane is "black". So that's how my lanes got marked. Hope that's right, cause it's done and will not be changed....

However I'm not so sure about what the driver order is supposed to be. Is the outside "red" lane on the left or right as you face the track?

Thought red was on the right, wasn't real sure since it has been 10 years since I raced consistantly on a 1/24th track.

I ran across the r-w-b-y HO lane marking standard, but frugality (would have to buy a yellow paint pen), lazyness (would have to actually use the paint pen) and the 1/24th standard won out.......
