teamouellette 02-21-2006, 08:36 PM We have changed the corners in Barre. We moved the inside walls back to allow more room in the corners. You will now be able to drive it in on the bottom without getting into the wall. You have more room now than before we put in new carpet. Come check it out, it is faster than before. I think records will fall at the March Meltdown:thumbsup:

Mayhem 02-23-2006, 07:25 PM Probably going to make the trip up , been a while, can a guy get a little setup help??? Tires especially, and slider or solid chassis??? Thanks
teamouellette 02-23-2006, 08:23 PM We are all more than happy to help with set-ups. Unfortunately there are as many set ups as there are drivers. Medium compound tires in general work well. (greens, whites.........) Junior, I am purposely not putting a picture of the new walls on line, that way you have to come see them;) .

Outlaw 44 02-23-2006, 10:57 PM Great racetrack, good show, too bad I won't be able to make it. My girlfriend has got that weekend off so if I wanna stay alive to see another race day, I better stay home that weekend...
See you guys next Turkey Shootout.
Mayhem 02-24-2006, 12:47 AM Can you elaborate a LITTLE on the setup? I dont expect your whole setup to the detail, just a good starting point. What are the fast guys running for tires?
We simply cannot take the chance of coming up and not having the right tires.
We have never been to the new track. Thanks
wkbracing 02-24-2006, 01:08 AM mayhem,
when we run at barre, we use bsr tires, greens or whites on the left side, I prefer greens, and a 50/50 white/grey right rear, and a black right front or a silver/grey right front, running A hyperdrive pro 3 slider chasis, med.stiff metal t-plate, green or purple front springs, pretty heavy center shock, I have run well with both an offset and a straight up pod,
If you preffer jaco tires, clayton smith, the track record holder, ran jaco greens on the left, a jaco black right front and a aqua right rear. oh ya,almost forgot, he is running an L-4, go figure.
hope this helps.
teamouellette 02-27-2006, 09:28 PM I told you they would be happy to help:)
Wade, be ready the track is fast now.

teamouellette 03-03-2006, 10:35 PM Glad to see you guys are gonna make it Wade. The new wall design is pretty cool. We raced it last week for the first time. It is a little quicker and much safer. We actually had some 3 wide racing in the corners with no contact.
Brian
p.s. Hey R, if you aren't going to support the track, thats fine. Try not to do any more damage than you already have.
mightymidget 03-05-2006, 08:26 PM we just got back from Barre, the track is the BEST it's ever been, the improvements the crew made is awesome, you can race in the corners now 2 or 3 wide, great job Brian and the whole barre gang,Bob T where were you,you missed a great day of racing.

teamouellette 03-05-2006, 08:35 PM Thanks for all the kind words Dan. I think a great time was had by all that attended. The racing was fantastic. The corner marshalls were ALMOST not needed today. The racing was very clean, I think the new corners were a vast improvement. The racing was fast. The track record was upped to 85 laps in SK mods by Ken Stridsberg and then upped again to a faster 85 by Rodney Huntoon. Nice job by everybody. Thanks for coming and helping support our track.

barnz2 03-05-2006, 11:14 PM Good show today Brain & crew. I had a nice time and I second the comments about the new walls. A great improvement! Now if I could only figure out how the a-main guys go so darn fast.
Thanks again,
Tim Barnes
rtourangeau3 03-06-2006, 08:51 AM B,
I simply answered someones post (#12) that asked who was going and who was not going.
If you have any problems you did it to yourself.
Sorry you brought it to this level.

The question was asked who is going, not who isn't going. This thread was here to promote our race. You keep going out of your way to try and kill the club in Barre and I don't know why because you were big supporters for a long time. If you don't want to support the club, I DONT CARE! Just stop trying to do anymore damage thats all I ask.
To everyone that did show up we sincerely thank you for your support. We had a great time.

Jarrod Li 03-06-2006, 08:51 PM To all who came, thank you! The day ran smoothly and I'm glad to see that everyone had a good time.
The results can be seen here:

and the points series can be seen here:

Thanks again, hope to see you all soon.

Track Official & Webmaster
wkbracing 03-06-2006, 09:11 PM thanks to the barre crew for putting on a great show, the day went as smooth as ever and the track is better now with walls being changed, people are able to race door to door without catching the turn.
we had a blast.
oh ya, gotta plug the best batteries on the market, ip's had 4 of the six positions in the a-main, including tq and win.
wade
teamouellette 03-06-2006, 11:45 PM Congratulations Wade and thanks again for coming. You know how much we appreciate it.
Brian
nascartruckman 03-07-2006, 02:32 PM I totally agree with Brian about who is going to the race!
Not to be rude, but if you aren't going people can find out at the race trackand we don't really care. We want to know who is going!!!
If you had it your way Bob, then the track would be shut down now.
But Thankfully it didn't happen that way.
We still want to enjoy racing locally, so if you don't want to then just don't come down, but please don't contine to try to get it to shut down. We've worked hard since you left to get it to where it is and now we want to keep it that way!!!
We want to try and keep a local club from closing so every one can have a good time without going to St. J. or to North Haverhill.
think Brian and Jay did a great show on Sunday!
And so I guess is what I'm trying to say is, if you don't want to race at Barre then don't, just stop trying to get it shut down.
I think Brian said it very professionally about not doing anymore damage to the club!
Hope to see everybody at the next Trophy race or sooner!!!.
teamouellette 03-07-2006, 06:41 PM I am not sure who this is there nascartruckman, you didn't sign your name. But thank you for your support. The sport as a whole just doesn't need the negativity if you know what I mean. Just keep the positive feedback and the heck with the rest.
Brian
