Are you going to have an electric latemodel class for the dirt oval and what motor? I am planning on running brushless on the concrete oval. Mike Seymour Echeconnee 03-01-2006, 04:24 PM Yes there will be an electric late model class (touring cars) you can run 5800 brushless or down to a 10 turn brushed motor both with 6 cells no more than 3800 mah Msey 03-01-2006, 08:55 PM Sounds good. Looking forward to racing with yall again! Mike Echeconnee 03-06-2006, 10:17 PM Likewise, you running on the pavement too? Msey 03-07-2006, 09:39 PM Yes, I am running the concrete too. I am going to run 4300 brushless in the pancar. Echeconnee 03-08-2006, 09:33 AM it's gonna be a BIG class Msey 03-08-2006, 09:14 PM How should I gear a 4300 for your track? wade 03-08-2006, 11:35 PM I saw the Dirt Oval track today. The pictures on the site do not do it justice. Its BIG, its WIDE and its BANKED. Cliff is working on putting a top layer of red clay on it. What I saw today looked good for the base. This track will handle all the horsepower you can put to it. We are going to have a gooood time in the dirt this summer!!!! Did I say it was BIG keep it up Cliff http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/images/icons/icon10.gif Echeconnee 03-11-2006, 09:08 PM Mike for the paved oval, I am using a 2.82:1 for the dirt, well that's anybodys guess:rolleyes: It's Virgin Territory, ,lolHow should I gear a 4300 for your track? Echeconnee 03-27-2006, 12:10 PM First Dirt Race of the season is April 9th, check the schedule @ www.echeconneesuperspeedway.tk Echeconnee 03-31-2006, 02:44 PM 8 more days until the first dirt oval race ever @ Echeconnee Superspeedway! Echeconnee 04-05-2006, 11:54 AM The season opener is this Sunday @ noon, so come on out and get some laps on the dirt high banks! Echeconnee 04-14-2006, 09:09 AM Entry form for the Southern 500 is located on the side bar of this page>>>>>> Hotel info is @ www.echeconneesuperspeedway.tk RC4less 04-23-2006, 09:38 PM Hey Cliff, trying to get ready to run some Late Model on the dirt for the 500. Will the dirt races be Friday night & finish up on Saturday night and the Paved races finishing up late Sunday afternoon. I had heard that is what you might do and I think it would be a great idea so guys racing dirt wouldn't be left with trying to drive home at 3:00 am on Morning. Looking at your schedule page will the dirt oval open up for practice at 5:00pm +/- each day of practice & the race days? Thanks BT Echeconnee 04-24-2006, 04:35 PM Bruce it is a long weekend and most have Monday off, if we finish up dirt Saturday night people will still be driving home @ 3 am. Starting friday might put some working folks in a bind for practice or getting there @ all. I still have seen no pre entries except 1 and they are happy with the schedule as is. I have the schedules and classes posted as is and am willing to try to please as many racers as possible by trying to be dynamic in my scheduling according to pre entries. Once the 15th of May arrives the schedule is pretty much adjusted and set in stone according to pre entries. RC4less 04-24-2006, 08:22 PM Hey no problem, just thought it sounded good to get guys who were running dirt out of there at an earlier time so they could do some family stuff on Monday. For sure if you were racing dirt on Saturday till 3:00am you would crash in the motel before pulling out. I'm only 2 1/2 hours away so it's a quick drive for me. Plus I am always wired up after a big win and especially if I'm putting old man Kellum in the infield as I take the checkered flag! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bt Echeconnee 04-25-2006, 08:52 AM Old Man Kellom, lol Now that's funny. It's funny though, he says the same thing about you:DHey no problem, just thought it sounded good to get guys who were running dirt out of there at an earlier time so they could do some family stuff on Monday. Bt RC4less 04-28-2006, 05:50 AM And you should see a couple more "seasoned" veterans I'm trying to get to come with me to go after the Kellum Machine. Thanks for the PayPal option on the entry fees. My entry was PayPal'ed a couple of days ago. Looking forward to doing some dirt racin! Bt RC4less 05-01-2006, 04:41 PM Hey Cliff, is the dirt oval track going to be open any weekends this month for a little practice? Organized race or just open practice doesn't matter. (Kellum will be paying my practice fee of course.) Bt Echeconnee 05-01-2006, 08:55 PM If I know a group is coming, I will make sure it is groomed for practice, it's gonna be tough keeping it moist during the day though, we will do our best! Echeconnee 05-01-2006, 09:06 PM Nitro Late Model will remain .12-.18 small block legal RC4less 05-01-2006, 09:42 PM I was thinking late afternoon/evening for sure. Kinda match what you were racing at the 500, but not the anticipated 2:00am finish time. Ol Kellum would be passed out in the pits sawing logs by that time. Bt Echeconnee 05-02-2006, 10:56 AM OK, well just let me know and we will accomadate the best we can, thanksI was thinking late afternoon/evening for sure.
