just trying to get the word out for those who do not know, there is a .3 mile dirt off road track that i have been going to for years, :thumbsup: its about 15 minutes from toronto ohio, right across the river from mountaineer park in chester wv. amb lap timing is used, transponders are there if you do not have a personal, there is a killer hobbyshop onsite, and hes also planning on making a smaller track more for 1/18 and 1/10 offroad, both tracks can be converted into oval tracks if there is enough guys running. he races every sunday at noon, and may run the 1/10ths on saturdays, but that will be figured out later !! classes this year that will be big are 1/10 trucks, and 1/8 truggies, we also run 1/8 buggies, and monster truck, and usually run an open class for those of you how do not fit in there. and i almost forgot, its called browns hobbyshop and raceway, web page is in progress right now too, but the start of one is: http://www.brownshobbyshop.com/index.html :wave:

Would you let electric 2 wheel mod buggy race in 8th scale. I see you have no electrics racing there yet. So you guys race year round, outdoor? :confused:

you could run in the open class, and there are a few guys that will run all winter long, me not being one of em !! i got to an indoor carpet place all winter !!

season is just around the corner !!

if it does not rain, season will start this comming sunday !! be signed up by 1130, racing starts at noon !!

well, there is usually an open oval class you could get in, and he is working on making a second smaller track, just for 1/10 and 1/18 size cars and trucks. this may be on saturday, and the main races being on sunday. where you from ?? and are there others with ya ??

Akron, OH. We usually race at Medina in the spring/summer, and at Columbus & McCullough's in the fall/winter. There are about 3-5 of us interested in coming right now. Oh yeah, we have no problem running on the "big" track. That's what mod is for!:D

if you bring a group, and you guys got the same cars/trucks, he will run any class you guys want too, and maybe in a few weeks, sone of us will add in too !!

75 entrys yesterday !! 2 classes of buggy, 2 of truggie, 2 monster truck, 2 open oval and 1 2wd !!! was there from 10 till 8 !!! its gonna be a killer year !!!
