I have a old homelite generator with a 7 HP Briggs attached to it. I am attempting to rebuild the engine but i cant figure out how to get the Generator armatuer off the PTO side of the engine. thanks for any help.

has a long bolt holding it on? put it back in, about 1/16 of a inch out, and place some good hits on it with a hammer.
