The LAST thing I need is to start buying another manufacturers product in die-cast. Just ask my wife. I think I am going to lose this battle. I just spent a good part of my lunch checking out the GL web site.

Has this been brought up before or does this company remind you of the concept and execution of early Playing Mantis? Almost like they hung out on the boards and took a great big wish list and then started making product.

Limited numbers
numbered chassis
exclusive rivits to hedge "customs sold as exclusives"
2% Chase Car.
Chase Car in every Master.

I mean talk about doing it right? This is like everybody's wish list except the JL heritage.

Very impresive I must say. Almost more JL than JL is these days?

I agree with everything you said Mark....not too mention they are filling holes in my Mustang collection. I also like the way they keep you updated on some of their projects via their website. I really like this company so far and I'm excited to see what the future holds.

Russ you're right. The package came today, and I already opened the red 429. Very cool. I'll eventualy open all the Mustangs, I'm not sure if I'm going to open the GMs yet . I might trade one or two, but the black Impala is very tempting, there was one in the neiborhood I grew up in that didnt have an engine in it . But my cousin and I spent a lot of time daydreaming about what we'd do with that car if we had it. Maybe I'll keep the red one and send him the black one to see if he still remembers it.
From every thing I've seen so far the GL muscle series is a homerun.

if they have 2% chase cars, what makes them chase? Green Rims? :)

So very true. Sad, but so very true.

You are right Mark. They also have great timing. RC2 dosen't want to get JL out to retail anymore. So here comes GL moving on in, and they have the product and insight to do it.
After all. They're modeling it the same way JL did back when everyone fell in love with them. While RC2 is taking the JL line and going who knows what direction?
