Well, I tried full strength Simple Green in the new Ultrasonic Cleaner on a Mustang Coupe tonight that had thick Blue Paint on it.

It Worked!
Too good, took off the Blue paint and the factory red stripes no problem :)

Also, Now the car has the
"Rare Factory Blacked out Bumper, Grill and Headlights" option.
Anyway, what is the proper way to remove paint from chrome bumpers without removing the chrome?

removing paint from chromed plastic is almost impossible. without stripping the chrome. If there is a way I have not found it yet. Good luck in your search.
