I picked up the Mattel Batman Begins set in Albany Oregon for $23 today. The Toys r Us in Albany is closing and they have 30% to 50% off all merchandise. I saw at least 2 more Batman Begins sets and quite a few Life Like Nascar sets.
They are also selling all their fixtures. Would be kind of cool to put a Toys r Us display rack in basement or garage to show off collection. They said no reasonable offer refused for fixtures.
I didn't have much time, I was just visiting Albany for my daughters waterpolo matches, and snuck out between games after I saw the sign guys on the corners advertising the closing sale. Too bad, I needed more time to check things out.
