I need to know if I need the jst taps on the lipo packs. Also do I need a pcm guard for charging,and a lvc unit. Thanks, alsmith661

You shold get the taps so you can blance the battery. After a few charges the cells will get unblanced and have diffrent voltages in them. A cell balncer will cut each cell off at 4.2 volts while charging to make sure they stay blanced and do not over charge. A low voltage cut off is a REALLY good thing to have. It will prevent you from damaing your battery.
