4sureracing. If we have 3 cars we will run Touring oval. It is about 290 miles

GILYHANTREE. When it gets warm that old saying Just bring it.Maybe by then I can get some folks back into Nascar. I think the new Raptor car might be a good thing for people wanting to get a feel of nascar at a affordable price. Heard someone talkin bout bracket racing, well that car would probably be the ticket for that.

keeping a better check. So many forums and websites I gotta keep up with.

As for our tracks in general-offroad, onroad, crete oval, and dirt oval- we had a
bad fall last year with no racers. COOPERS, MCLAKE, and me run the tracks now.
It took us, the LHS, and some other racers to get our rent caught up from the last
owner and now we're getting started good. Right now we're not being picky about
rules, tires, motors, etc... We're just trying to get racers in. Onroad and offroad
are more popular right now, but I would love to see the ovals in action. I like dirt
oval and LAKE runs both (he's better with rules, etc... than me and SLIDER knows
a whole lot more on the ovals than he says, LOL) As mentioned we'll race anything
as long as there are three of a kind.

Dirt Oval: Well let's put it this way, anything we've run on the offroad, we run on
the dirt oval-1/8 scale buggy, stock etruck, stock gtruck, unlimited gtruck, monster
truck, stock ebuggy, mod ebuggy, electric monster truck, etc...

Concret Oval: I've seen nascar, touring, and formula 1.

We'll race anything, and if all you have is one type of car, we'll mix it somewhere
so you can race.

I'll watch this forum better along with our offroad and onroad forums.

actually i havent ranit that much, had to borrow the exhaust from my other one to check it out then i put it back on. my new pipe wont be here till thursday.So sat. will be its first time on the track, gonna bring the GS for a back up car,( probably let you drive it then sell it to you, lol ).

What classes are you guys going to run on the Oval? I think I heard that you guys run 4-cell Stock. Is that the class? Just let me know. I am ITCHING to get an new Oval Car, all I need is some people to race with and know what class you are going to run. Also what batteries are going to be allowed.

Me, I would prefer 19t Spec class. But I will run anything.

been about 3 years since i have run oval on that track had a rough outing there got my car steped on in the 2nd heat race by turn marshall and 3rd heat race car died and marshall set it down in front of traffic and broke chassie and if i remember tornado sierens were going off also. so hope i have better luck next time i go (LOL) :)

SottH, just bring what you have, we'll race it. SLIDER will be able to fill you in
on more of the common things that they have run, batts, motors, etc...

Willyplankhead.I am trying to promote growth for the crete Track. It is to fun of a track once you get a grip on it. If we get more new interest, May make a breakout class to keep them slowed down till they get a feel for it. Then advance if they are ready.Things will be run a whole lot better from now on. We will show folks how to turn marshal the track,and how to set a car down and when. Im hoping it will grow back stronger than before. and people have more fun.Cause I go to have fun. Ya'll are More than welcome to come on down, when it "warms up"

i know slider did not mean in negitive way i think it was funny with everything i had happen first time out track was fun and i hope you can get a crowd down there i like to have change of scene every now and then runnin the same old gets to boring

willyplankhead. I know I understand. But That is a point that needs to be addressed, becaused so many places. especially smaller tight tracks. People have to understand when to put the car down.I look at it this way a busted race car equals no racing no fun. so It will be a good thing.I know I will always prefer to turn left.

one thing dont think we have control over those tornado serins that is what will give you a really bad feeling LOL

before i come down i am going to mail my car to slider and tell him to make it fast i know slider knows this track like the back of his hand he has put a whooping on me to many times down their maybe he can show me a trick or 2 i have learned something new everytime down but for some reason everytime i think i got it figured out slider laps me (also who is SCOTT H i havent seen that name on here before)

Yeah, I've turn marshalled before a few times on the crete oval, by the time I made it to the car, the others were back around already. It's tuff, because I always try to be as fast as I can to get someone back racing, but that oval is fast. We'll just need to be sure that turn marshalls are some of the racers
and not spectators, which that should be happening anyway. Volunteers are
nice on the offroad because it's so big, the oval only needs two. But we can
definitely work that out as we get more racers, so ya'll come on out.

well, i went out to the shop and found a couple of 10l3 sliders and a old hyperdrive, guess ill build one up and learn how to drive on the oval once more. (ill be the one in the rear playing "Follow the leader" trying to stay out of everyones way). On a diffrent note, theres a racetech bolink gascar on ebay at 50 bucks right now,HINT HINT.

Sign-up 2.00 races start 2.30 unless it would change between now and then.and It would be posted with ample Notice.We are on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month as of right now.which would make first race for April the 8th. next date would be April the 22nd. The Pensacola crew is up for a road trip. I should be back in my new home in Auburn, Alabama some time in early April. I am currently on loan to the Gulfport MS. Go easy on me I haven't picked up a radio since BMS in July.
