There is a new display at the local one that has some movies that haven't made the $5.50 big bin here. They are in separated small boxes so that you can actually look at all of them without causing an avalanche. I got Catch 22 with several extras including commentary. The best thing is the series is $4.88 each. Worth a look see.

Our 4.88 bin here is the same open deal as the 5.50 bin, but some good flicks. I got Cheech and Chong Still Smokin', a blast, exspecially for the dough, Cool World, U2-Rattle and Hum, the few good parts are worth the price, Crocodile Dundee 2, I got Croc 1 previously for something like 5 bucks too. I may be the only person on Earth who likes Croc 2, but I do, so there.

Sounds like all Paramount Pics huh?...I got a Double Feature (DVD Set) of Chuck Norris in "The Octagon" & "Goodguys Wear Black" for $5.00 in that regular Basket. Heck I found The Great Lon Chaney's Two Silent classics Phantom and Hunchback for $5.00 and it came with a set of LARGE repro Movie Posters of each Film! cool!

I thought Croc 2 was as good or better than the first one. Got a tape copy of both but I'm going back and take a closer look in the bin and see if my store has Croc 2. THis is a new section so the "big Jumble" $5.50 bin may have started out this way. LOL

I paid $39.99 for Catch-22 when it came out! Good DVD though.

That aerial shot of Paula Prentiss straddling the dock buck nekkid made a big impression on me when I first saw "Catch 22" at the age of 14. I don't think I understood the rest of the movie, but it didn't much matter.

OMYGODDD, our Wally World now has a $3.88 bin, I just picked up 'The Right Stuff'. For less than 4 bucks you can't go wrong. Seems a lot of original release films are in the 'dump bins' when the special editions come out.

Wonder if DUNE will wind up there soon. From what I hear the newest Lynch Dune isn't a third of what it was cracked up to be, so I'm thinking I'm better off with the bare bones until the third time round (used to have the widescreen vhs but dumped it when I heard there'd be a spec ed DUNE a couple years back.)

At our Wally, they dumped all those together in the $5.50 bin so you have to dig to find any good DVD's

At ours they dumped the 4.88 DVD's in with the 5.50 discs, and then started the 3.88 bin. Most seemed to be a load of cobblers, but you can't argue about The Right Stuff for under 4 bones.

I saw the 3.88 bin and The Right Stuff was a must have. I also picked up Terminator 3 for 3.88!

Cheers,
