Like the title states, from the top looking down on my TC4, the rear tires are angled inward (pigeon toe'd). Is there any way to fix this? Do I want to fix this? I'll be racing oval with a runline of 180'. If you could fill me in and give me a part number, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

That is also called rear toe-in. This is done for onroad to make the car more stable and easier to drive. Also creates rear traction. The only way you can totally get rid of the toe-in is to buy Losi XXX-s rear hub carriers and reverse them. The right one on the left side and the left one on the right side. Which degree rear hub carriers you need depends on how much rear tow is in the car. As an example if you have 3 degrees of rear tow-in and use 2 degree Losi rear hubs reversed you will end up with 1 degree of rear toe-in. Hope this helps.

So if I get rid of thise rear toe, it will make the car harder to drive on carpet? If I don't need to do this, then I won't. I just figured it would make the car a little faster...

If you are running on carpet oval getting rid of the rear toe will free the rear end up and take away drag from the wheels scrubing. For onroad I would leave the toe as it does help there but if you are just running oval then I would get rid of as much as I can.

The stock TC4 rear toe is 3 degrees. They sell 2 and 2.5 degree rear blocks for tuning. For carpet, I've been running the 2.5 so far, and I used to run the 2.0 on asphalt.

Losi makes a 1 degree rear hub (LOSA9853) so combined with the Associated 2 degree rear pivot (ASC31069) that would take you down to 1 degree of rear toe instead of the stock 3 degrees which should help if you are running carpet oval. You would need to install the hubs backwards to reduce the rear toe.

Losi makes a 0, 1/2, and 1 degree hub for the JRX-S that will work on the TC4.

Remember, they put that rear toe in there for a reason. If you find the car is loose all of the time, you may want to put some of it back in.

John is correct. Mainly rear toe affects forward bite off the corner but if you are always running on the loose side try a little more toe and see if it calms the car down.

Much simplier way of getting rid of rear toe. But No rear toe it can be faster. Depends on track and driver. Rear toe in, may work great on onroad. But oval, For me it just don't getter dun.
