what is the big hype about these trucks. im not dissing or putting these trucks down but whats so big about them you could just buy an evader for much less thats just as fast also the set ups are almost the same. SO WHY ARE THESE TRUCKS CONSIDERED SO MUCH BETTER? no offense intended

yes but after a few adjustments to an evader you can get it dialed in, im just saying the evader is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY underated. im not saying losi sucks or anything im just saying there are cheaper trucks that are just as good or better so dont get any wrong messages here its all friendly :wave:

The Evader handles nowhere as well as a Losi or an Associated. I know, I raced an Evader for over a year to prove it could be done. Yes, it can be done... I was a low B main driver with the Evader. Since the week I changed to the Associated and then later to a Losi I have constently been in the A main.

I hope you understand that the Evader is the old Losi XXT, with some minor modification's. Everyones driving style is different so the same vehicle dosen't fit all drivers. So be happy the cheaper truck fits your style.

IMO the Losi's (I drive a Matt Francis 1) can be fine tuned a little more and are more sensitive to minor tweaking. Think of it as the difference between a Camaro and a BMW M3 on a track. Both will put down similar performance numbers, but the Bimmer will have a more refined feel.

Everyone always told me, offroad was about 80% tires and 20% setup. A couple years ago a guy showed up at the local track here and was very competitive with the truck(Duratrax). I would bet if there was more effort put into these trucks/buggies, from the factory, with talented drivers such as what AE and Losi have, it would be a different story. We might be saying, why not just get a AE.LOL!!!

Purchased a evbx when thay first came out and after wearing out the the parts warrenty finally found alum ft and rear c`s and hubs. Found out strait from duratrax that the small parts molds they use hold to much air making the sm plastic stock parts very brittle. hence the parts warrenty thay have. Thank god for graph and alum huh. you are right though they are pretty much the same. My daughter loves the buggy and we will be racing medina asap. Marty
