Great to see you on here. As for your finds, those London Taxi's are the Chase Cars this year for 2005 NSF Series. 1 of about 7,500 each model, white wall on real rubber and black wall on hard plastic tires. Great find too! You guys are still in my prayers, Gill

As a point of reference, elsewhere the R.O.W. models are black over white and have the same tire/wheel combo! :wave:

Ive found two of the red with white sidewalls,The box states 15.000 produced.Im confused..

Now I am really gonna confuse you, I think.

During 2004, MBX NSF was intro'ed and the chase car was #24 Chevy Corvette. There were 10,000 or there about made of each of ‘1-75’ NSF modelS in the series except these chase cars. There were 5,000 or there about of a blue Chevy Corvette made and 5,000 as well of the Chevy Corvette that was issued in black as well as the blue one. To make it a real chase car(s) they were issued with RR wheels in both colors.

Now here in 2005, MBX NSF has been issued in a LIMITED EDITION (1 of up to 15, 500) for each model in the series except the #69 London Taxi. It appears that the taxi was issued first with the whitewall tire and the black wall tires are now showing up. So using the program if you will that MBX used last year there are 7,750 or there about of these taxis that were made with whitewall RR tires and there are 7,750 or there about of the black wall plastic tires.

I hope this clears up so of the confusion. May someone else with more knowledge about it can add some more.

Really there are two more chase models in the rest of the world (R.O.W.) Same model but there are black over white. Those two R.O.W. taxis are issued at 8,000 or there about and the variants are about 4,000 or there about WW RR wheels and likewise for the black wall plastic wheels.
