Just received my copy of "The Flash" yesterday and it was great!
I can't believe it first aired on t.v. 16 years ago. The only bad thing that I can say is that I went to look for reviews at amazon . com they mention at 1 hour and 30 minutes into the pilot eps. , the dvd freezes at that point.
Sure enough............... it does :( but only on that eps. good thing it was at the very end. Other than that it was great.

I am holding off buying it, until Warner Brothers decides on fixing the problem.May issue a recall.

Weird thing is, the problem doesn't seem to be with any one geographical area or brand(s) of DVD player, so they can't seem to pin down any common factor among the bad copies as yet.

Kewel news! I didn't know what this was coming out on DVD. I'm a bit dismayed that there are problems w/the disc, tho. Guess I, too, shall wait to see if they fix this before buying it. I loved this series and was seriously disappointed when it didn't get picked up the following Fall. I was looking forward to seeing where they were going w/the series, especially with Mark Hamill as The Trickster. That was an interesting character....

Is it exactly 1:30 into the pilot or just somewhere around there? I played my copy from 1:29:01 through 1:31:33 on my PC just now to check it and that part played OK.

I enjoyed the show but thought it aped BATMAN '89 too closely in two fundamental respects - Elfman's music and the heavily muscled suit. Both were redundant.

That suit was cited as one of the cost overruns of the series!
