Here's the poll on placing your vote for battery rules concerning the 4 cell stock classes at Washington Raceway. The suggestions are:
4 cell - 3300 limit (the way the rules are now - no batteries over 3300 allowed)
4 cell - 3800 limit (this will raise the limit to 3800 for legal cells)
4 cell - 62 lap limit (you can run any battery but the objective is to run 62 laps in 4:00. Current 4 cell stock lap counts are 62 to 68. This class will place the emphasis on gearing and consistent driving rather than motor and battery. If you run more than 62 laps, you finish last)
4 cell limited (3300's) and 4 cell unlimited (3800's) - two classes
4 cell - 62 lap limit and 4 cell unlimited (3800's) - two classes - same as Fairmont classes
I did not include 1/12th scale as that should be a different poll. There usually aren't enough 1/12th scale to run two classes.
Remember that your vote can affect two things:
1) Changing the rules to follow "standard" limits will increase the likelihood of visitors from other tracks coming to race at Washington. They won't have to worry about battery rules.
2) Changing the rules will affect the way YOU race at other tracks. If you visit other raceways, you may want the rules to be more universally accepted.
This poll is for information purposes only. Aaron and Jim Fulton will make final rule change decisions.
OK ........... now go ahead and vote!!
