Nitro is not part of the regular program but if you can get enough racers(4?) together Joe will run that class.

Cliff,

In general, we don't have any nitro oval racers out west...I will have a flyer for this event within a month (I'm still putting finishing touches on our series schedule) I would be happy to add either a nitro pan class or a nitro oval touring class with enough "pre" entries to know we had a class.

Jimmy,

Since most of us on the west coast drive to Vegas, I try not to go there on Holiday weekends... The hiway between Vegas and L.A. is SOOOOOO bad on holiday weekends, it generally adds 3+ hours to the trip.

I will be there. I may even talk Jason into going to Vegas.

Caps Tires Or Foams???

jflack

Foams! 3 Purple and Red RF.......No wear at all, foams are running 50mph + in 19 turn. Caps would be so much fun on this track....

Burby you going to Vegas??

If there IS enough interest in a CAP tire class, it could easily be added. I would require "pre entry" for any Special classes that would want awards.

No Host hotel, but we'll be staying at the Hacienda Hotel and Casino

This is a fun track, make it if you can. You will have a good time. I will try to bring an extra table or two for any body that needs it.

For anyone that has never been to this track NEEDS to go!! I went to the Kimbrough race 2 years ago and it was awesome!! 4 cell mod wide open on 4 purples!! The place is so smoooooth....run your car at foam tire height and you'll never get a scratch on it!!

Thanks Eric,

You are correct, this is one of the most AWESOME tracks built for R/C racing in a long time. The detail, the drivers stand, the size...just incredible.

Judge for yourselves...

I'm hoping to have HOST HOTEL info posted next week sometime.

We are still looking for a MAJOR Title Sponsor for this event. We'd like to be able to provide nice trophies and 'T-Shirts' .

contact Joe Myers joe@southwesttour.com

Thanks
