I am repainting a Tyco jam van as the Mystery Machine for my son and would like to make it run on my Lifelike track. Does anyone know if this is possible? Would the middle pickup just be eliminated? Any help would be great.

I did make mystery van from tcr jam van and put them on regular tyco 440x2 chassis just remove tcr chassis. that way it ll run on lifelike tracks.

I converted a yellow Jam Car Mustang to run on my slotted (Tyco) track - you just have to install pickup shoes in the left and right position, superglue a (JL) guidepin in the middle and adjust the P/U shoes a little. Not very fast, but these cars will run in either direction (just like these funny U-turn chassis) due to the diodes already installed.

Now if one could only change the gear ratio easily to make the car faster! Then we could have some nice U-turn cars for almost free (these Jam Cars are usually not very expensive...)!
