Bought his HPI Pro4 from him back at the end of November. Said that it was complete and there was nothing wrong with it. When I got the car I had to put over $50 in parts to make the car right. In fact, it was close to $80 in parts. Communicated with him about taking care of this - refund my money, buy the car back, send me parts, etc. I ended up buying the parts I needed and negotiated or gave him a lower-cost option of just sending me $50 to cover a majority of the parts. He kept telling me that he was selling some other parts and that as soon as they were sold he was going to get me my money. This was at the beginning of December 2005. I kept having to e-mail him and ask him about the money and he always told me the money was coming. I finally just asked that he send whatever money he had as I was having to sell the car due to financial issues and needed the money I was already out just to break even. Said he would and even asked for my PayPal addy etc. I received one more e-mail from him before I just finally gave up - that was before the New Year. It has now been well over 2 months and he has YET to take care of this.
I'm taking a break from R/C now, but figured some one needs to know about his dealings just in case they come across his posts again.
Bottomline - DO NOT DEAL WITH HIM!
