Just 1 more week till the Regionals at Fastlane Raceway. Track is super Fast and the Oval track is the best one we have had, Its the same track bye the way as the Grand Nats race, new carpet only 1 month old has made the track faster and make you run a different groove.

Friday Doors will open at 12pm (noon)for open practice.
Saturday Doors open at 8am for practice
Drivers meeting at 11:30
1st round Qualifying at 12pm, 3 rounds Saturday
Sunday Doors open 8am
4th round Qualifying starts 10am
Mains at 1pm

Should get the out of town guys out soon enough to get home at a good time.
Track has been super fast latley, track is real racey a great drivers track and lots of fun, Hope you call all make it to one of the Best racing facilitys in the Midwest for a weekend of awsome oval racing.
We have internet comection so bring you lap tops, will have nascar on all weekend for all ypu nascar fans. Pop and candy machines. And powerd pit tables. And on site Pro-Shop.

Track is all set up will try to post a pic some how I am light years behind in that digital cam and pic stuff I'm sill have not takin in the birds pics to get developed. Maybe Chuck can bring a cam and post a pic.

Boy! I'm bummed... Problems with my last epidural injection the week before the regionals forced me to stay home (doctor wouldn't clear me to travel, and with the pain meds I was on, I wouldn't have raced well anyway...).

Sounds like I missed some fun!

Say... How did you get away with running 5 minute races for a ROAR event...? (Just curious, no "flames" intended -- just wondering if ROAR is changing their rules?)

We have always ran five min, 5 thats norm aroud these parts, but this is the last roar race we will do unless something good comes up.

Congrats to Phil and Chuck for there region 8 titles.

We kept the price down in hope that more people would show up, but that did not seem to matter, we had a Roar race and that didn't seem to matter, so to the guys in region 8 that don't want to support the tracks in your region, unless they race at the other place, maybe thats why there is only two good permanent facilities in this region still left.
A little sad that more of you didn't make the trip to see our Track. But maybe it was to far to drive for some of you, 3 or 4 hours driving is a lot to ask from most. Or maybe Oval is dying in our area who knows???? But I will see most of you this summer or sooner because me and my oval racers don't mind driving to race even if no Regional titles are at stake we just like to race, so see all of you soon..... :wave:

Thanks for having us Shane. I would have giving you a run for your money if that Lightspeed guy would just move. Can't wait for a rematch, but not at a Roar event.

I really don't know why the turnout was so low. Was it Roar? Was it the brushless race the weekend before? Was it the track? (NO). Let people know so this can get fixed. The turn out for non Roar races is getting huge. Why is Roar races so low?

Dan hoping to go to Omaha and lay it down but the boss has to ok and I have been racing a lot in the last month. See ya soon can't wait for the rematch.
