B.A. Sanders 01-20-2006, 12:21 AM Sorry Ron, no nitro for me, I got too good of a deal to pass up the electric
one. But I'll run just a stock 27 turn against ya!!!
left turner 01-20-2006, 08:20 AM YA YA Any excuse not to have to run against me. Thats ok , with steve , me , the 3 B,ham guys and that new kid with the HPI that,ll make 6 , enough for some good fun racing!!
Slider 01-20-2006, 08:54 AM B.A Sanders. You still into Nitro Buggy. and the truck?
B.A. Sanders 01-20-2006, 11:57 AM That's right SLIDER, still have XXXNT(haven't broke in new Evo 5port turbo yet),
XXXT electric truck, and 1/8 scale Mayhem. Now to the list is a TC3. I hope my
Losi stuff dosen't kick that Associated out of the cabinet. LOL
Slider 01-20-2006, 04:01 PM B.A.Sanders That Associated will kick losi outta the cabinet. But either way those are the 2 best made vehicles. when you get right down to it. But I was not impressed with the first year of Losi LST, or Associated Monster GT. Maybe the newer generations have improved. My .02 worth
left turner 01-20-2006, 07:57 PM hey slider, hows the tc comming? Steve and one of the guys from b,ham were runnin that 4300 brushless and man were they sweet.
Rainey 01-20-2006, 09:33 PM what's with all of the touring car talk in the off-road forum??? LOL just kidding guys. glad to hear that the TC scene is coming back in T-town. now if i can get some of these lazy-butts around here to load up and make a trip over. And if any of you are interested, Small Cars will be running, Hobbytown is moving to a new location and will be running evey other Sunday ( dates and times later... also rumour of an off-road track also ! ) and a new shop has opened in Pearl and are trying to get things together to hold racing also. i will pass along any more info that comes up.
Oh.... and Pearce has said that the off-road in Meridian will be completed soon......

Slider 01-20-2006, 10:08 PM left Turner. Well I have alot done. gotta mount receiver and esc.and start making adjustments. Gotta do me a body,I will run stock for now. Then practice practice practice.
Slider 01-21-2006, 09:48 AM If anyone has been running a TC-3 could you put me in a ballpark gear to run.Running a monster stock. Thanks
Rainey 01-21-2006, 12:06 PM monsters usually like 6.80-7.00 range. here is a site to help you figure ratios out for different spur/pinion combos

B.A. Sanders 01-21-2006, 06:55 PM Thanks Rainey,
I'm running a PK2 27 turn I think. I'll need help in the touring scene too.
We might need to think about a touring thread too. Lots of action with
that here lately.
left turner 01-21-2006, 07:31 PM someone say onroad thread?
Slider 01-21-2006, 07:42 PM That's a good idea.
B.A. Sanders 01-21-2006, 10:42 PM When someone starts one, just let us know on here what and where it is.
skillet22429 01-21-2006, 10:53 PM hey brent , started yall an on-road thread in the on-road forum
Mr Nitro 01-23-2006, 08:20 PM Superman is DEAD!
1Starpower 01-23-2006, 08:57 PM Superman is DEAD!
UHOH what happend?????
Rainey 01-23-2006, 09:50 PM Thanks Rainey,

P2K is a good one as is the Monster... I run both. They also are close or gearing too. The new CO27 is suppose to have the best of both. Guess i'll try one when Bates and I get back from the Snowbirds. I have never ran carpet before so this should be interesting!! LOL
Mark
B.A. Sanders 01-24-2006, 12:56 AM You only run Superman once what happened????!!!! Being that I'm the one that
pressured you to run it.
Mr Nitro 01-24-2006, 09:50 AM Who would have thought that a broken leg (axle) would take Superman down, but it did. BUT! A new force grows!
Slider 01-24-2006, 10:57 AM So SUPERMAN ain't dead!!! He's in gathering his strength. Had to much cryptonite close by. He just couldn't take it.
B.A. Sanders 01-24-2006, 11:29 AM Well, found why the Mayhem was acting up last race time. Here's how the story goes:
Motor would do fine at high rpms, wouldn't run as well on low end, then started having troubles getting it to crank, then broke a roto start on last attempt. Took it home
and tore it down, rear crank bearing went bad, which pushed bearing fragments into
the rest of motor, so I have a galded crank, low end of con rod flattened, sleeve and
piston full of grooves all the way around, and various areas in side the block scratched,
chipped, etc. Can we say--- New motor??!!
Mr Nitro 01-24-2006, 12:05 PM Slider, Superman is DEAD! Gone, Buried, GONE!!!! A "NEW" beast grows!
Mr Nitro 01-24-2006, 12:08 PM Bad news on the motor Sanders. That butt kicking you handed out in Sippi must have put a hurting on it.
B.A. Sanders 01-24-2006, 12:32 PM That's what I thought, but there's guys that run 45 min. mains, surely it should've
handled a 15 min. main. Ya'll all know I like to run a little rich anyway. Of course the motor is a year old, can't ask for too much I guess.
Slider 01-24-2006, 01:28 PM Mr Nitro. What is the new BEAST????
Slider 01-24-2006, 06:00 PM 1Starpower. You figure out that clutch deal on buggy?
1Starpower 01-24-2006, 08:04 PM Not yet, haven't been in the trailer yet since I unhooked it. Picked up a different collar while I was in Meridain to play with. Plan to work on the buggy tomorrow if I'm not too tired from running.
Mr Nitro 01-25-2006, 11:46 AM Slider, I'm working on a Losi.
Cooper-S 01-26-2006, 01:52 PM I drove past the track at about 5:30 this morning...
There were some lights on and a truck was parked with it's parking lights on...
Thought that I had caught a vandal red handed...
It was Brent... he had been pumping the water off of the track so that it would be in good shape for saturday...
Either he is committed or he needs to be "committed" to Brice Hospital...
Hey Guys. I live in Selma and was thinking of coming up and racing this weekend, if it doesn't rain. Just wondering if you generally have a decent # of electric buggies? I've never raced before, but just got a deal on a used Duratrax Evader and like it pretty well. I know it's not the best, but I figured I could use it to gain some driving skills then move up to a better buggy. I just got a new speedo and stock motor, so if I can get them installed and ready, I'll try to be there this weekend. If not maybe 2 weeks later. Could you recommend a good pinion to start with?
I look forward to meeting you all and racing with you.
Tim
mclake 01-26-2006, 05:38 PM Cooper thats man is has got the fever. Slim bring it and we will find a class for you. If there is not enough buggies then you can rum with the electric trucks. We are out there to have a good time and that all so just s come on over and we will get you started. On ther gearing, let us know the tranny gear and we can get you started. I run a Losi. I belive that I run a 86 18-20. Just depends on the motor and the track and if BRENT is get his GOOD motors in, lol.
I personaly want to thanks Brent for all the HARD work that he has put into the track and wanted to let him know that we all apperate the work. The weather looks like its going to hold off so lets get the batteries charged and the tanks full and rub some lexan. I am off to work to build a M class and a R class or two.
Later,
Lake
