SMROCKET 01-16-2006, 12:25 PM Dale was waiting for the paperwork to be complete before the debut ....Again PROTOFORM has got to market with a new ride for SNOWBIRDS ......Congrats to Dale as well as all the guys going this year ....SRM erock1331 01-16-2006, 12:43 PM Per Dale at ProtoForm: I just wanted to let you know that the choice in short/flat track bodies will grow by 1 in the next week or two. It's all finished - we're just waiting for "official" licensing approval and decal sheets. If you're looking for a stock car body with all the latest in NEXTEL CUP aero tweaks.... well - it's got the whole enchilada. Dale - PROTOform Jim Rufiange 01-16-2006, 01:12 PM Got a chance to see the new body this weekend...WOW! Can't wait to get one. Dale is the man! Racin JJ 83 01-16-2006, 03:02 PM When can we see pictures? What is it Monte Carlo or a Charger... Racin JJ erock1331 01-16-2006, 03:14 PM Dodge Charger I actually have pics but I need Dale's blessing before I can post them. It might be a while because of the red tape going on with the licensing procedures. karter93 01-16-2006, 05:18 PM Thank god there is something new coming out from Dale...... I am getting tired of the land yacht chargers out there now..... rccarpy 01-16-2006, 05:48 PM The body is done, a select few have them now...sorry no pic's, but it does look as real as the nascar big brother.....of course! Ridge Runner 01-16-2006, 06:35 PM LOL. Imagine that. The HD Monte Carlo still dosen't need improving EAMotorsports 01-16-2006, 08:49 PM Pics are posted on protoforms website....Man dale outdone himself!! "Frank Ulbrik" 01-18-2006, 11:41 AM No, I ran the HD Monti.. This weekend will be the first time out with it at Josh Cyruls new track in Mi. erock1331 01-18-2006, 11:53 AM Frank U got mail. I think i have the right address. "Frank Ulbrik" 01-18-2006, 11:55 AM didn't get it E, try send it to ryanroofingco@yahoo.com erock1331 01-18-2006, 11:57 AM ok u got mail Sonny B 01-23-2006, 01:08 AM I ran the new Dodge for the first time today. Just want to thank Dale for such and awesome body. Broke the track record and one the A-main at Allens’ tuning up for the Novak Brushless race. Compared to the HD Monte the new Charger seems to have a better balance front to rear. The car feels very stable yet still cuts in well on corner entry and stays planted thru the center and off.. The small mold detail on this body are awesome. The center line marks on the hood to the higher cut line for carpet racer make it very easy to mount. Dale seems to up the standards with every new body produced. Thanks for another winner. bud3738 01-23-2006, 09:55 AM do you have to offset the front body mounts height wise or is it like the Monte Carlo and are even .....Also...what is the rear track width......?... pepe 01-23-2006, 12:38 PM I have to offset the front body post on M/C's? DustinB 01-23-2006, 01:33 PM No one runs the intrepid anymore? bluelineracer 01-23-2006, 01:53 PM I tested both the R/T and the Charger this weekend. I never liked the Monte Carlo....and the Charger didn't seem to share any of the same effects that the Monte did for being an "HD" body. Both went the same lap times, but the Charger did feel more stable. I think it holds the nose better in the center of the corner than the R/T does. The biggest drawback at this point is that most will try existing setups with a new shell....and bail too soon. It may take a couple tweaks to get it rolling...but it will be great. Thanks again Mr. Epp. Dusty Kemp bud3738 01-23-2006, 02:47 PM I have to offset the front body post on M/C's? You do?..........Maybe just a little perhaps.....But with the intrepid ....you have to offset them alot.........Is the charger more like the Monte Carlo or more like the Intrepid...alxso...what is the rear track width for the rear tires.....Iv posted this question twice but havnt heard a response....Is anyone carrying them yet?........ erock1331 01-23-2006, 02:54 PM I spoke with Frank Ulbrik and he said he had to cut down his LF mount about 3/16" from the Monte and also cut down the LR mount about 1/16". Sounds very similar to the mounts needed for the Dodge R/T. Once I get my test bodies this week I will post the rear widths if somebody already hasnt by then. Sonny B 01-23-2006, 03:01 PM do you have to offset the front body mounts height wise or is it like the Monte Carlo and are even .....Also...what is the rear track width......?... On my Custom Works car it's about .200 difference in the front. Rear track width about 8 3/16" My understanding is you should see them on dealer shelves early in February. bud3738 01-23-2006, 03:36 PM thanks guys Fl Flash 01-23-2006, 05:19 PM Any chance this could be the "handout" body at the Birds this year? vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
