Looks very cool, but them inside and outside walls look vicious.. Foam tires?? or caps??..

I haven't had a chance to look it over good yet, but I'm pretty sure it was the motor. Have you guys chosen a organization yet, I'm sure with time your track will be one they will eat up with national race dates. One more question do you have a timing system w/ transponders?

jmcdo28
01-15-2006, 11:04 PM
no org yet, but we have ambrc and the track has transponders if you dont.

The walls look bad but there not. We don't break alot of stuff at all. Pink caps hook really well. Even blues & greens. ..Oh I'm the yellow car..lol

do you think brian would consider putting plexiglass around the walls through the turns, maybe 4 inches tall so the wall don't grab the tires? other than that track is fun to drive

Brady Red 21 at sandhills now 22

i doubt it, hes pretty stuck on keeping the wall the same.

Gret looking track.. ONly concern isee is the inside wall.....

Just a hint don't let foams run on the track if you plan to run caps... or just go all foams.. foam dust will not let cars get hooked up to well on caps.... cause alot of problems....

Nice track.. only 45 mins form me...

ive been running foams with good results and the cap guys are inconsistant... but... there has been a problem with the track. when the guy put the lines down they lifted and screwed up the surface. the owner has had them sandblasted off and when the weather gets right a tennis court company is gonna lay tennis court material. ive felt the samples and it is like concrete. when that comes along there wont be anymore foam tires.

02-14-2006, 06:23 PM
Yeah thats the normal thing you find whe caps and foams run the same track.. caps have a hard time hookinh up due to the foam dust.....

BSR does make a great cap tire for touring as well. so if you have any touring guys wanting to run let them know about them....

this guy is very unfair he told some guys they could run an open mod class and after one guy spent about 300 he said they could not run the class.i know of 5 people quit racing their, because of his rules, and i hope their will be more to leave.then he might listen to what the racers want.

I noticed you guys run Touring Oval, but with Touring Bodies and 3300's? Can we run a Touring Oval chassis, BSR caps, and a NASCAR body? Here are a few pics of my JRX-SO:

Mike and I are pretty tight. I will have a spare car for anyone who would like to try out the class. One week Mike may run it, then maybe Brooks, or even a local that just wants to race in the class.

Thanks for the input about Sandhills, but Mike has already said to bring them so we can get a class started.

I race there every week. I think Brain is is great! His is tring to keep the cost of racing down. Yes the walls are hard, but if you can drive you should'nt hit them 15 times in 5min. I don't brake much at all! Other drivers seem to love killing my crap thou...lol

Tornado
We need to talk. dude that is the badest 4wheel drive I've ever seen! Brooks told me it was bad but my God!
I just bought a BMI offset car from Brooks it may have be your old car.lol You sould come check us out one week I can line up something to get you some good packs to use. Dean

I know several ..self included that want to come run at the track.... But rumors persist that any class other than what is already running there isn't welcome.....i hope that isn't true.. i know of at least 8 open 19trn cars that want to come and run...

This track is closer to me than Sandhills.. so i would realy like to have some open 19trn races there...(ROAR rules).

Brian is a open guy! If you don't trust me this is his number 843-393-3333. tell him you have some open 19's that want to race. We would love to have ya Billy!
There were a few guys wanting to run open mod split a class of 8 cars up. The class was to small to start a new class so soon. All Brian said was for us to wait until there were more guys in our class to split so soon.
