Another great Ertl effort, This is a really well detailed diecast.
Maybe its just something about a HEMI Superbird, one of my favorites.
And this is an early issue, before they were ordered to remove the bird decals.

Exactly. A Licensing issue, which Ertl had once before, with the '69 Roadrunners.

I have to dis-agree. I think the casting is horrible. Whats with the bulging quarter panels?? And the narrow roof with mis-shapen quarter windows and over-sloped windshield?? They haven't blown it this bad since the horrible 69 Coronet. Darn shame its not shaped right like the Daytona.

:confused: Apparently, you have not taken a good look at this Ertl Superbird,
Or you have never been close to a 1:1 Plymouth Superbird.
The quarter panels bulge just like a Satellite should.
I believe this is one of the better re-creations done by Ertl in 1/18 scale.

Show me a Satelite that bulges here and what you have is a Moper fulla Bondo.
