I would like to get some colors ones - its for a project that i am working on. can you add two bulbs on one chassis? will it use up too much power?

And also I am looking for a junk body afx 56 ford panel truck (all i know is they have red with flame and black with flame) Let me know if you have spare one for me to buy or trade. i dont have one in my collection. are they rare or hard to find?

Thanks
Wes

Wes, Visit your local hobby shop that sells model train supplies. Look for "Grain of wheat" bulbs OR "Wheat Kurnal" bulbs. 2 may be used but "using too much power" is relative. You want it to look really cool or smoke your buddies car? They do use juice.

I replaced a standard white bulb with a green one from a train signal light (or some such) in my Tyco Kodak tractor/trailer. Looks cool and I can tell mine from my sons' when we have 4 rigs ripping around the 4 laner. Hope this helps a bit.

Micro-Mark has the Grain-of-Wheat lights for 39.95 per 100 for clear (part number 82590-C) or a bundle of 100 that has 25 each of clear, green, amber and red (part number 82590-4C). The bundle with colored lights is also 39.95. Go to micro-mark.com and do a search by part number. (or they are on page 90 of the early winter 2006 catalog.)

You should get bulbs that can handle at least 18 volts. This is so they won't burn out when you jam on the gas.
