So, yea yea.. I could buy a charger that monitors temperature but why would i do that? Yea yea, I could use my infrared gun to check the temperature but why would I do that?

So, I saw an older Yokomo BCS charger, and it uses a lil temp probe to monitor the battery pack....

So here I am thinking.......... could I use something like:

http://i11.ebayimg.com/02/i/03/e9/08/37_2.JPG to monitor my battery temps? this thing has a lil probe at the end, and stuff.

yea.. not accurate.. but it would give me a ballpark right? i think... (shrug).

or... could i make one maybe using like a thermosister from radioshack etc. etc.. hrmm..

You can also take a digital meat thermometer and remove the metal probe to reveal the sensor. Place the sensor against the cell and that should work fine.... I think you can find them for less then 10 bucks.
