As I was searching the web to find infos about my two strange Slotcars from Tomy Japan( READ (http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showthread.php?t=126828) this thread about it), I just found this info, which I dunno if it will be interesting somebody, but here's the copy/paste of it....

Japan's No. 2 toy maker Takara Co. and the No. 3, Tomy Co., have reached an agreement to merge on May 13th. The new company, which will start as "Takara Tomy" as of March 1st, 2006, will become Japan's second largest toy maker next to "Namco Bandai Holdings Inc.," which is to be established in September 2005 by the merger of Bandai Co., Japan's largest toy maker, and Namco Ltd., a leading provider in the videogame industry. Due to these two mergers, the toy market of Japan will become to be lead by initiatives of the two major new companies. Takara and Tomy have expertise in toys for girls and those for boys respectively; the new company is expected to take advantages in the both fields.
