Windtunnel Racing Products is proud to now offer you our spring works division. Here is what will be available. Standard, progressive, vcs/hps, king pins, spring buckets, and 1/8 axles. All rates in the standard and progressive will be available in the same rates that they have been in the past and in the same colors. There has been a couple added to the vcs/hps line as well. Part numbers and pricing will be available soon to follow. Many pieces are here and in processing with more on the way. They will also be going out to Distributors as quickly as possible. When you say same spring rates, are you talking Wolfe or Associated colors ?

At this time we are concentrating on the much needed items. They will be the same type of spring as previously sold by wolfe. And yes, there is much more to come in the next weeks and months.

My stuff is not yet ready except for for spring buckets and .080 spacers. My large spring bucket is purple and the small ones are red. Those are ready now. At this time I still have quite a few Wolfe springs in standard and progressive if anyone needs them. MURDOCKRC@AOL.COM

Distributors will have everything as quickly as possible though. Some springs are here, some are on the way and the rest are being made or painted today. I would look for the whole package to be ready in a week and a half.

Alll current Windtunnel products are available through MSA/Hyperdrive. Shure Lube (hot item) and Body's. Body's are also available through Competition Products. Suspension parts will be going to MSA/Hyperdrive as soon as they are ready.

Long king pins kits, short king pin kits should be available by the end of the week. We are tagging and bagging as quickly as possible guys. Bare with me here. :) Im like the rest of you meaning I want it yesterday as well, but everything in my power is being done to get this stuff out to you asap and a good product to boot. What is a "King Pin Kit"?

The king pin kits include 1 pair of pins, 6 spring buckets (2 small, 4 large) e-clips, 2 .080 spacers(with the long kit), and .020 shims.

They inlcude everyting needed to shim them, and run standard or progressive springs.

What material is being used for the 1/8" axles, and the length from bearing seat, to the end of the threads?

Size and length are going to pretty much the same as previous manufacturers. the material being used is top secret, but is much stronger than previously used and in testing has not been bent. So, it would appear that if you bend one of these you hit the wall way to hard. ;) But this material has proven to be much better than we are used to in the past.

Yes it is still possible that the 1/8 axles will be ready for the birds but I cant say for sure. Stay tuned here and if they are ready I will be making it know for everyone.

How about 1/8th axles "please" for da birds

We have done all that can be done but the axles will not be ready for the birds. We have had a couple little delays in getting them done. I would look for them to be available the week after the birds in time for all the other big races that will be going on from then on though. All I can say is that every attempt possible was made to make them available. The Spring Works will be at 100% just after the birds.

As mentioned above a very large shipment of springs and long king pin kits has been shipped to the Motel for snowbird bound racers. Sure Lube is also there (very hot item). See Barry Hill from hyperdrive/msa and they will take care of you.

Up to speed: just to keep everyone informed the springs are much, much improved from the previous one on the market. Our first run were pretty much the same as were available but the latest run are extremely improved. Better material with a smoother feel and the green 12# standard has been updated to be a smoother spring like the red 10# standard but with the heavier rate. Im very pleased with that after running them today and Im sure you will be too. In case you want to know how to tell the difference the paint will tell that story. The new run has improved paint as well. All springs are now updated to the new material and they are all SWEET. Many of you have come to know me (Rob) as a very picky person about what I sell and I can assure you that every thing I produce will be top notch equipment.

I see that Hot Rod Hobbies in Saugus Ca. got some of the front springs, they llok nice I may have to get some of those.
