ERTL 1/64 tractors - does any one else collect them? I have about 22 in total. I prefer older tractors (pre 1970), but I have a few newer ones too.
Here are a few of my favorites
Farmall Super M

Farmall 350

John Deere 730

Overall ERTL has done a nice job on these. The tampos are great. Notice the detailed John Deere logo on the front end of the 730. Not bad for 1/64.
They look great with Johnny Lightning vintage trucks too. Below is the Super M with a JL 1965 Chevy Fleetside

If anyone else collects them please post pics!
Cheers,
Greg

Hi free spirit,
Thanks for posting. What a great pic! Looks like you have quite a few implements. Right now I just have JD and Farmall tractors and a few wagons.
I've seen some of your other pics on the JL board. Looks like you have a number of great dioramas. They must take up a bit of floor space. I've always wanted to build some dioramas like that, but I don't have the time or space at the moment. Keep your pics coming... I always enjoy them.
Cheers,
Greg

Dont have many. just a few. My brother-in-law collects 1:1 Steel Wheel Tractors. Old stuff, like his 1927 Twin Cities, or his 1934 Caterpillar Fifteen Crawler.
And we go to alot of threshing bees to see him show and see other old stuff.
right now he is restoring a 1911 Rumley Steam Engine tractor.
Bought this set of four at a farm auction. some nice ones in this set.
anyway, here ya go:

thanks for the compliment greg. i keep all my dioramas the same size 2 ft by 4 ft .just have them going around the wall .they dont take up much space that way right now i have the 24ft wall done north to south time to head east on the 20ft wall l.o.l. i figure if i get enough done my hubby will get the hint and build another model railroad an even better way to display cars even if it is a bit off scale . i have never seen farmall tractors in our area only the john deere .we had a lot of 1.43 scale ertl graders, and bulldozers, backhoes and stuff like that but i gave them to my 3yr old grandson now there sandbox toys l.o.l. he likes anything that has moving parts .when he comes to visit he checks out all my cars and anything that the hood or trunk opens he takes home l.o.l. so most of my ertl cars have a new home l.o.l.
it dont take up to much space for a small diorama i have done 1 for my brotherinlaw only 1ft by 2ft it was a small hunting camp with about 6 pickup trucks and a few guys standing around . i dont spend a lot of time doing dioramas a hr or 2 a week just a way to relax for me .

Awesome photos G-Man, I mean best tractor photos I have seen! We stock loads of ERTL tractors including lots of 1/64 stuff. Never knew there was such a huge following until we moved here to Indiana.

Free Spirit:
Thanks for the diorama tips... I'll get around to building one someday, but with a three month old in the house my wife and I are pretty busy. I imagine we'll only get busier as time passes.
CJTORINO:
Great pics! That is a nice set of vintage case tractors. I like the Allis Chalmers too. My Dad has two AC back home on the farm. He has nice 1947 Fordson Major that he wants to restore someday. Nothing quite as old as what your brother in-law has be still pretty old. :)
Russ:
Thanks for the compliment. I quite enjoy taking pictures of little toys. Thanks for the heads up about your site as well.
