hey guys i was wondering if the different traction setting on the esc your running really make a difference and if so how big of a difference. i've never up graded to an"aftermarket" esc before thanks any info would help

Yes it definitely makes a difference. If you're racing on a very slick surface, it can help to keep you from breaking traction when coming out of corners but should only be used when absolutely necessary. Often times, a softer trigger finger is an adequate solution.

well it has 5 setting so do you know which one i would use for which, its a duratrax streak you can go down to a 12 turn motor with it
