I drive a sportmaxx which is pretty much stock. Today I was out driving and i know this sounds dumb but i ran into a basketball goal post and broke a front top a arm. I am going to buy a replacment but I am wondering about aluminum arms. They are more expensive and i know stronger but i was just wondering if they are worth the extra money. I do a lot of jumps with my car if that helps.

Also if you know any place that has a arms plastic or aluminum for a cheaper price please let me know. Thanx

An aluminum arm is just going to make you break the bulkhead instead. I would just try to avoid hitting static objects, jumping doesn't really affect the a arms, unless you aren't interested in a controlled landing. It may not hurt to look into what RPM has for upgraded plastic a arms, they are tough in a giving way.

about an hour after i posted the original message i figured out that my front skid plate is broken too. I would like some opinions on the aluminum plates and if there is anywhere that they can be found at a good price. I have been looking on ebay and have found a few deals. Thanx a lot.

I still like the "not hitting static objects" idea.

Get the RPM arms. There ate very tough and have a lifetime breakage guarantee. If it breaks they will replace it for free.

You may be able to get a new skid plate made of aluinum through Integy. They make a whole mess of parts for the T-maxx's. You can find them threw towwerhobbies or maybe youre local shop.
