Thanks for looking!
Atencio 01-07-2006, 02:02 PM Nice cars. I wasnt collecting back then. I did find the whole series of convertibles from 1997(I think) at a K-mart a few months ago however.
olesarge90 01-07-2006, 02:02 PM I'm liking them!!!
SouthernYankee 01-07-2006, 10:46 PM Cool pics Adrian. I remember those, but never picked any up. I am liking the Grand Sport Vette and the Judge Goat.
FLOYDFROG 01-08-2006, 01:42 AM Wow,nice cars! Too bad I wasn't collecting back then :(
davidj 01-08-2006, 03:26 PM Wow, I like those Corvettes! Both the vintage and the Blue one with the red fender stripes! I got all the Camaros, mostly off epay. No pics - they are packed up.
CJTORINO 01-08-2006, 08:10 PM Those are pretty nice. I have a couple of boxes of them unopened.
Tried to trade them away a couple of times, no takers.
The #17 and #20 sets in particular are real nice.
Guess they just never caught on. I bought all kinds of them because numerically
speaking, they are of relatively low numbers, and the quality was great.
I did open up 36 of them to fill this display tower,
http://photobucket.com/albums/v67/CJTORINO/MB/000_0698.jpg
And they look terrific on display.
I still have lots of these, And I like them.
wish Matchbox would have continued this series. it is a good one.
plankowner 01-08-2006, 10:28 PM Very nice!
FLOYDFROG 01-09-2006, 02:29 AM That is a really nice display you've got there!!
Superbird77 01-09-2006, 05:25 AM I really like the blue vette with black rims!
streaker 01-09-2006, 09:05 AM Love the Corvette's... Know where i can get some? and where did you get the Display case?
moparmarc 01-09-2006, 11:21 AM Awsome, someone else who collected these, lol
I still need a few to complete some sets, Im also looking for some of the Original Worlds class cars that came out before these premires did.
I have a bunch of these for sale if anyone was interested.
streaker 01-09-2006, 11:23 AM Any Corvette' s ?

Mazda RX-7
its pretty cool, havent looked at in in a long time!
mn_dodgeboy 01-17-2006, 01:35 AM those look great. I have the Thunderbird somewhere.
jeep4x4 01-17-2006, 11:09 AM Those are pretty cool. I wasn't collecting them either. Never seen them till now. Thanks for sharing.
jedimario 01-17-2006, 02:51 PM Good thing I wasn't collecting back then, I'd have bought every single one of these, and weren't they about $3-4?
96gsfan 01-17-2006, 03:16 PM I have picked up several of the Vettes from that series and looking at my HT name can you guess which one is my favorite? Thats right the 80's corvette convertible painted in the Grand Sport colors. The body year is wrong but the paint is pretty correct for the 96 Grand Sport. I also have picked up several of the GTO's. I like the beefy look on the MB GTO.
mn_dodgeboy 01-17-2006, 07:08 PM yup. I agree with you there. You know, I wish Matchbox would cater more to collectors instead of little kids now. I used to have a gold Premiere Mustang Cobra, and I have no clue what happened to it. :-(
racrx7 01-26-2006, 03:02 PM I'm a viper guy so this is my favorite Premiere set.
stang_crazy 01-26-2006, 03:29 PM i only one i got is the newer 99 mustang convertable, never seen any of the other fords at all, anyone got any extras? would liek to find the other stnags and t-birds and what ever else ther emight be,
davidj 02-01-2006, 07:56 PM I'm a viper guy so this is my favorite Premiere set.
That is a pretty neat set! Did they only do the Vipers in a box like that? You would think they might have done Vettes, Muscle Cars, Camaros, etc.
Oh well, one less thing to go hunt down.
eyecandy 02-01-2006, 11:32 PM posted a bunch of premieres on the swap and sell board earlier if anyone is interested!!!

Actually they did do more sets. I have a Corvette set and an all Chrysler set as well. I'll try and get pictures later when I get home.
racrx7 03-07-2006, 04:54 PM Yeah, they did the Corvette set and the Chrysler set. The Viper set was going to be the third one, but the didn't release it. :( I only know of 3 of these viper sets to exsist. There were other vipers, but they were in individual blisters and had different paint jobs from the 5 in the pack.
TheDarkCutlass 03-07-2006, 07:06 PM nice... if only matchbox did an oldsmobile asides from the aerotech!
Diecast Camaro Collector 03-13-2006, 07:54 PM Nice! I have a few of the Camaros from the series....pic isn't good though :/
Wyatt 03-15-2006, 01:23 PM I have all of the Premiere's and World Class cars up until 1998 and some after that. I also have the Collector's Choice set and the Gold Challenge cars except the '57 Chevy Winner car. They are all still in the package or I'd consider making a website for them like jlcollector.com.
Wyatt 03-15-2006, 01:27 PM They actually did 6 different Corvette sets, same cars, different colors. Didn't TRU do a set with a truck? It's been a long time since I saw them (buried in a box in the closet...)
There was also 2 JCPenney's sets with a stand.
There were also some rigs done up like Premieres. I only got a couple of them, the Coke and the one hauling the bulldozer.
