As for Burkie, when I spoke to him around noon today he was leaving NC for Indy to pick up his stuff and return it to NC for the weekend.

Hey guys, I just talked to Burkie about 10min ago. He was on his way back from Indy and was headed to the Moose to talk to them about the racers being there. As far as I know the carpet and everything else is still down at Stout.

Hope to be at the Moose this weekend I will keep updating as I hear from Burkie which should be here shortly :thumbsup:

Hey yok, Did you you get the led out of your car? U must have had a rocket 54 laps pretty good!!!

I took 6 cell busch with 58 4:00. This my first time back with the busch car at the stout/moose layout and may have a little more for the state race. I will need it though with top 4 finishers on a 58 lap run I believe. Jim Alexander was right behind me and I think 3rd was Bob Cordell and Butch in 4th. Great racing guys no I just need to find some speed in the 4 cell stock car.

Domenic tq'd 19 turn with a 64/4:01...i was second 64/ 4:03...then it was Recio and Chet Swihart. I broke too much stuff to fix in time for the main...so Mark and I ran our little cars for some testing...Domenic threw a mod in and ran with those guys and Chet sat out the main. Kind of a mix and match main for us but the racing was good all night. Stock field saw Brent Lane snuff out the infamous "blue flame" of Dave Whitesel. Looked like Hofer and Alexander were fast all night. Deweese was quick in the Busch class as well. The track was smooth, the heat was on :tongue: and it was nice to be back. Thanks to Burkie for the work it took to get it back on track. Any Indy guys who feel left out should really get together and carpool over. You get practice from 9 in the morning and 3 rounds of qualifying and a main. Now that some of the old blood has resurfaced it would be cool to see you drive over. And.....if Graves would ever log off he might find time to race again too. :wave:

I just rebuilt my boy's Booooosh car. We should be there Saturday . Smith says he's gonna build a Boooooosh car too. Probably see him in 2 weeks. Sure was fun Saturday. Top 4 Boooooosh cars finishing on the same lap with 58's. I passed Butch on the last lap for 3rd. Hilljack, you comin' to get ya some? BC ;)

Sorry guys but I will be in Nashville this Saturday and California the next, but will make it to the state race. Great job Bob can't wait to race ya again!! Chad maybe some day we will figure out stock but come back to busch it is way more fun!!

I've been busy!!!! I've been tearing my busa down......just going thru it....doing some powdercoating on the frame and some other stuff. I've got a guy over by your shop building a new 4-6" over arm....and I'm adding a 40 shot of nitrous and a new Murray sidewinder. I need 1 of everything at some point in my life....never make it, but it's fun trying!! :cool:
