This may not be new to some, but I've notice several occurances of this on the XT cars. The rear wheels have plastic nubs, similiar to the little nubs on the Thunderjets' tires. These nubs are on the flange where the recessed side of the rear tires go. These nubs will give a bumpy ride unless you gently sand (or dremel) them off. Or you can just replace them with Afx or aftermarket rims.

If you carefully check your rear rims, you can see them or feel them with a fingertip. Even Afx rims have these nubs.

This is where the rim was removed from the injection "molding tree" or sprue.....you'll find these on some Aurora AFX as well.
