View Full Version : Barretown RC New Years Bash January 14 & 15, 2006
Jarrod Li 12-18-2005, 09:19 AM Notice: the original date of January 7 & 8 has been moved back by one week to January 14 & 15.
We would like to invite you all to the annual Barretown RC New Years Bash trophy race. It will be on January 14 & 15, 2006. The New Years Bash is the second race in our 3 Trophy Race Series.
We will be open on New Years day, the week before the trophy race, as well for all of you who like to come up and practice as much as you can before the trophy race.
Details of the trophy race can be found here:
http://www.barrerc.com/interior.php/sid/4/aid/17
and you can pre-register online here:
http://www.barrerc.com/register.php (http://www.barrerc.com/register.php?event_name=New%20Years%20Bash)
Pre-registering allows us to have all your info (name, class, frequencies...) when you arrive so you don't have to write it all down for us.
We would again like to thank Junior for offering us this date, it has really saved us.
Hope to see you there,
Jay

ebxxxmaxx 12-21-2005, 01:12 PM What motors, & batteries are allowed in the 19 turn class. I am hoping to get some of the guys from Massena down there to urn at this race. I will be there either to run 19 turn or sporstman class.
Jarrod Li 12-21-2005, 01:20 PM ebxxxmaxx,
To be honest we don't usually wind up with anybody running in that class for some reason, I don't know why. However, if there's at least 5 who want to run it, we'll do it. The class is listed as:
Pro Stock - 6 cell battery/Stock motor or 4cell battery/19turn motor and Nascar body
As far as 33/3800's and which motors I think we'll probably leave that up to the guys that come that want to run the class since we don't have an regulars running it.
If you are planning on coming to the New Years Bash and would like to run a 19t motor, please leave a post here with what you would like to run so we can try to narrow it down a little before the actual morning of the race.
Thank you,
Jay

Jarrod Li 01-10-2006, 07:56 PM Junior,
If there's enough that want to run we'll do it. Since we don't have any regulars that run 19 turn what I would like to do is have everyone that wants to run it decide on the rules for it (motors & batteries mainly). Let us know when you sign up so we can then get you all together quickly after the drivers meeting to decide.
I know we'll be ready for you all and are eagerly awaiting the weekend.
See you there!
Jay
ebxxxmaxx 01-11-2006, 02:31 PM What motor rules you guys having on the sportsman and nascar classes? Is it going to be a handout motor race or like the last trophy race where you bring your own.

Fireball929 01-16-2006, 09:22 PM Sorry we didn't make it, but the roads weren't very nice. Maybe next time.
Later,

mproy 01-17-2006, 12:16 AM Yes the roads were indeed pretty bad Sunday morning but I am glad I went.
I'd like to thank the Barre crew for a good show. It was a day of first for me. First time visiting the track, first time TQ and first time A-Main win in the Sportsman field. Special thanks to the fellow competitors who fought hard but clean.
And the usual thanks to the equipment that put me in the victory circle (TQ Cells IB3800, Putnam Binary-2 motors and BSR Tires all bought over the counter to top it off!).
