I need some help with a capped tire setup. the track is 375 ft asphalt trioval with 5 deg of banking. i have a cw aggressor. any help would be appriciated. also, ive noticed very little info on capped tire setups for concrete or asphalt on these boards and im sure others could use some help too.

Ok,this is for a Hyperdrive Pro-3,should transfer pretty close:4 pinks,3 l's and R right rear,[play around on the lr,have a red and green on hand],LF middle locator plate,with .120 shimming under a-arm,red std. spring on asc. 9110 kingpin,2 .020 shims on top,Wolfe spring cups,0dg.castor,3dg camber.RF narrow locator plate,green spring,everything else the same,3dg back castor,3dg camber.Place frontend where car will be 10 3/16ths wheelbase with short rear[dont know the placement on your CW]center shock,35wt oil,copper Silva spring,.250 preload on an HPI shock with #3 piston,make the shock 3" long extended,2nd hole down on mount.Rear;offset tplate,oncenter pod,side shocks 25wt oil,2nd hole down both sides,red right spring,gold assc. left spring,about 3 1/2 oz lr wt.No.1 ride hts turned down[jack the back up]Right side4" from center line,lr 3 7/8ths.I ran this setup today @ Fox Mtn speedway,a 330 ft asphalt,2-3 dg straights,probably 10dg in corners.Outside temp was 60dg +-,this is where the LR comes in,started with a red,went to green as track heated.Protoform HD Monte,also Windtunnel HD Monte worked the same.Car was quick,ran the only 38 lap run of the day. I have run this setup on 3 different Hyperdrive cars with good success[0700,pro-2 shorty,and pro-3].

cu, we have a 375 ft asphalt tri oval with 5 deg of banking at bandits hobbies. pretty fast too!

An add-on to the setup,forgot cator blocks,majority are 3rd hole down right side and 2nd down left,my personal is bottom right and 2nd down left,a bit more aggressive,also the toe corrector from KSG is a necessity,or you can make your on like i do.Just cut off a right steering block arm,flip it over put it on the bottom of the left,attach with 2 2-56 screws and nuts,cut off the ball end section of the left block,add ball,and there ya go!

On my Pro 3 at C&W ...Front end Middle left narrow right ....red springs both sides no preload...Thick and thin locator stacked on top of each other....Camber 3 degree left 2 degree right....Castor 0 degree left 1 degree right...25wt oil in sides with bue springs...30wt oil #3 piston HPI shock...1 hole down on center ...And top hole on sides..Solid straight cut 063thts t plate...020thts shim under front of tplate...Offset t plate on center pod.....narrow hub left rear with 2 -1/8th inch axle shims And on center hub on right and 5-.020thts shims on right rear.....#1 ride height adjusters in rear turned down.....Pink L net on right front....Pink R Net right rear.....pink non net l on left front and a red non net left rear narrow......Long front short rear....Proto HD Monte...Center shock 3.030...

how do you measure your total shock length, from ballcup to pivot?

I have run my agressor on a track about like yours with green left side S's, and blue right side R's Works real well for 80 degrees on up, for colder days, reds on left and green on RR and blue on RF. This was for 19 turn. Lots of people have been running 4 pinks and doing well, but I couldnt get it to be fast with 19 turn.
For the car I went with blue side shock springs, Silva Gold CS spring, Red LF Spring, White RF Spring, 50 wt center, 30 wt sides, Offset Spring steel soft t-plate. Offset pod.
